NFT - The Periodic Table of Elements UPDATE #15

We have distributed the NFTs to those who have participated in the last two giveaways.

These were the Iodine and Xenon NFTs. It has been a long time since they were activated and to reward everyone's patience we decided to make an exception to the rule and reward all those who have commented on their respective articles with a valid WAX address.

Between today and tomorrow, an author's NFT will be sent to all the winners of the contest related to the creation of the latest molecules.

If you haven't done so yet, you can add yourself to our artist NAJU's Instagram followers

If, on the other hand, you do not know the collection linked to the Periodic Table, we invite you to read this article.

In the next few days our giveaways on the new elements of the Periodic Table will start again.

2021 Nobel Prize for Chemistry

Finally we give you some news about the world of chemistry: the Nobel Prize for the year 2021 was awarded to Benjamin List and David MacMillan, for the development of asymmetric organocatalysis: a method to make certain chemical processes more economical and environmentally friendly, and to direct them to produce exactly what they need.

Chemical reactions provide the building blocks of which everything around us is made and are the basis for the creation of many products, including drugs, cosmetics, plastics, dyes, food additives, detergents and so on. Often, however, these processes can only take place in the presence of catalysts: molecules that are not part of the final product, but facilitate the chemical reaction that generates it.

List and MacMillan published their studies in 2000, within a short distance of each other, and without knowing their colleague's work. Since then, the use of asymmetric organocatalysis has established itself in the chemical industry and is the basis of many productions.

The Periodic Table NFT project

The Periodic Table NFT project aims to raise awareness of chemical elements in a modern key, basing the approach on blockchain and Non Fungible Token.
Day after day it will be possible to know the single elements that make up the table, to collect curiosities about each of them and about the table in general.
We are working to be able to learn, in a playful way, also what happens by combining the various elements.
The whole project is based on the collection of NFTs that can be bought on the site https://wax.atomichub.io/market?collection_name=periodicelem&order=desc&sort=created&symbol=WAX or by participating in simple giveaways published on publish0x.

The periodic table, also known as the periodic table of elements, is a tabular display of the chemical elements, which are arranged by atomic number, electron configuration, and recurring chemical properties. Each of us has a good memory of the school period. The periodic table of the elements was certainly a part of our journey. The time has come to retrace each element and collect the most exciting ones.
