I have been stuck on my laptop for days and hours still. I'm like, in the matrix at this moment lol. Welcome to another one from Copy Paste Coders. I am your newbie dev Promise. And back with more character and inspiration. But this has been a journey I tell you. So what are the most recent updates, well the world has been going to S****

But what's new I pray for the families and people efffeced by the hurricanes.

That is why I have been doing all in my ability to learn and make use of as much information to better myself, my family, and the people around me. Cause:

Information is only power once applied

SO WHAT IS NEW NOW WITH THE DEVELOPEMENT OF MY AI APP AND BUSINESS?

1. The first issue was errors. The hardest part is keeping the AI to consistently memorize the code, the new code, and how to not revert to non used code to fix errors. Example: Say you find 4 errors bbetween two files. You then ask Ai to fix it, First, it will give you the bare basic ways to fix it and then not make it match the logic or structure of your code. Or it will give you a fix for one and a different fix for the net that doesn't sync with your code logic. ETc ETc Etc.

What it boils down to is that the chat interfaces to an extent or unless with a certain paid subscription. The memory and telling of code data become too much so to say for the system and it starts to then regress on the quality type of output it gives back. So to say, paid or gpt4 give you good code then after the usage amount or you use a lower modal it gives you a lower grade of code or it starts to lose focus on your code logic or structure.

2. Using different modals, through multiple windows open to help code.

This approach and use case helped a lot with going through the first set of errors. So what I did was ask all the different AI modals for the fixes for the same error to see the response and then I tried all the different ones until found the code that worked. I then paid attention to how and what each one did and used to find the solution. That helped me simplify the fixes and the proper code frameworks or language to use.

3. Free versus Paid

This is also a big part because as stated a lot of these modals start to lower the quality of their response it gives back but one thing that it does have to do is give a proper response and an answer to a question. So use as much free usage properly as possible or use local large language modals that you can download locally or self host.

4 WHAT DID I USE?

First I was doing this before a lot of these code helpers and extensions were available. So I took full advantage of Chatgpt, Gemini (Bard), the next very good help was Langchain/ LangChat, and then the development frameworks like Vercel, Next.js, and Clerk has integrated Ai into their system for their docs, so I used those ones also. Then came products specifically for coding like Github Copilot, Cursor, VS code extension out the masses lol, and more. Replit just found them out but have to link a card.

In my medium blog, I have links to each site. Course Coming Soon.

5. Ai Doesnt Do Everything.

One thing I would like to say no matter what AI can't do everything when it comes to development. One thing it has an issue with even with code dev period, is out-of-date code or updated code that it doesn't know of yet or at all.

Next is how you want to develop and then deploy to production. You can get it to make massive user interface and code but how you structure the code, the frameworks used, and then the backend. How to deploy to productions. It cant make the proper push commands or tell you what to do if you do something wrong it will give you steps or information but if you have no clue where to go or look then you have a lot of work to do.

6. The Learning Curve vs Work Load - Conclusion

The best thing for me is the learning curve. the tech is scary and can and will make people lazy. The goal is now to get ahead of the game and use it for what it can help you do and achieve. I built something that would have taken a team of 20, and months to years to build and or finish. I did in weeks.
