1.Richard Brian is an active Cosmos Validator. He has skin in the game and vested interest, which explains the shilling but also shows commitment.
2. Now I am looking at EVMOS and see a big void were TVL and actual applications running on the chain should be. Seems to make good Richard plain delusional.
3. This is where most observers stop! But wait, let's dig more and actually listen to the EVMOS community call on X. In this community call it becomes obvious that EVMOS is getting better connected through Swing Protocol. Nice to have, but will this cause a comeback? Probably not. What is good Richard hearing, or seeing, that makes him so sure? What is not appearing anywhere else, hence unknown to the unobserving eye? Good Richard does indeed seem to be sitting a bit deeper. He may have noticed information which often get published in governance proposals, and in fact there is something mentioned in this community call! A DAO framework called NEOKingdom DAO has deployed on EVMOS, and even more importantly a real world business called teledisko DAO, as a first use case of that framework, will launch it's BERLIN token soon.
4. A token called BERLIN, that makes me startle. What can that be? Staying with the facts: There is this proposal about a BERLIN token registering as IBC coin on EVMOS. It is getting interesting here. IBC means Inter Blockchain Communication protocol, and is the base layer of the app-chain thesis within the Cosmos ecosystem. This means a chain has a specific use case, and does not need to include all features and as such all the TVL everyone nowadays expects of an ecosystem. DEX, Lending market, NFT Platform. There are other app-chains, tackling those verticals. As long as you can send your token anywhere, you are part of the interchain. In conclusion this means EVMOS does neither need TVL of some Degen LP farmers, nor even a functioning DEX in order to be relevant. Any DEX, most likely Osmosis does that job.
