Rafe grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois. He's a perfect combination of Red State goodness and progressive dissidence. Translation: he's a great guy who just happens to also be hilarious.

My take: We were fortune to work with Rafe very briefly on a project, and he was such a grounded, great guy to be around. He was a total pro, so when I heard this album was coming out to the masses, I flipped with excitement.
