Joe Rogan: "I use Brave Browser"

By author_nan | News | 4 Jun 2020

Podcast host Joe Rogan in a podcast episode dated June 2 said that he used the Brave browser because it maintains privacy and removed ads. Rogan’s podcast has dozens of millions of listeners and this episode has already been viewed nearly 2 million times at the time of publishing. The discussion takes place at about the 2:20:35 mark.

Rogan, who has previously talked about cryptocurrencies before, spoke with musician and comedian Reggie Watts about a variety of topics, including privacy and advertisements. They also referenced the $5 billion lawsuit that Google is facing for violations against privacy.

Both Rogan and Watts said that they use Brave for its privacy-preserving features, which has received excellent reviews in the media. The news might come as unsurprising to some, as Rogan has previously spoken of Bitcoin, though he is not as sold as some of his guests have been. Rogan has hosted both Andreas M. Antonopoulos and Elon Musk before.

The Brave team has released a slew of features that have won over new users. Its userbase numbers are also better than ever, with over 15 million active users reported on June 1.
