• Grayscale purchased 17,000 BTC in the last 7 days, bringing their total holdings to 449,000 BTC
• The Grayscale Bitcoin Trusts (GBTC) owns 2.43% of the total Bitcoin supply, worth $4.8 billion in total
• The firm offers several cryptocurrency products to institutional investors, including BTC, Ethereum (ETH), XRP, and Zcash (ZEC) Trusts
• Investors buy assets at a premium from Grayscale, and avoid the trouble of custody; the BTC trust has an ROI of over 7,500% since inception
• Bitcoin has been performing well in recent months, staying above the $10,000 mark for its longest streak yet at 64 days
