Bitcoin Has Been Above $10K Mark for More Than 64 Days

On September 27, Bitcoin (BTC) set a new record that will keep bulls optimistic, having stayed above the $10,000 mark for more than 64 days, the longest it has done so since inception, according to data platform Messari

  • Bitcoin was last below $10,000 on July 27, with its previous streak occurring between December 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018
  • The number of BTC on Ethereum has also hit record numbers in recent weeks, briefly crossing over $1 billion in total, with 118,570 BTC currently on Ethereum (ETH)
  • Other metrics also point to the market’s growth, with the number of cryptocurrency users up 3x from 2018, according to a Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance study
  • Analyst PlanB has said that Bitcoin is on the verge of a bull run and on track for a $100,000 price
