Nectria cinnabarina - The fungus occurs in two types of rootstocks: the perfect stage (surrounding) is in the form of small clusters in the form of dark red warts up to 1.5 mm in diameter with a small wart on each ball; imperfect (conidial) stage is larger, spherical or pincushion, 0.5-3mm in diameter, pink or cinnabar, smooth.

Occurrence: Massively on dead branches of deciduous trees and shrubs in forests, parks, gardens, by the roads. Common. From late autumn to spring.

Value: Inedible mushroom.
