Coins on the ground representing the possibility

The opening salvo my first real post and into to what's to come.

This is basically just a short rendition of some of my experiences that I've had in the past with trying to make money generally online and the problems that I've faced with it.

One of the main ones is that whenever there's a video on YouTube, it's generally someone who has failed at it and now has found a way to try to make money off it (by trying to get you to sign up for something that they once did). This always bothered me in great detail. If you wonder why I say in great detail, it's because the great detail they provided was what could happen, which didn't happen for them, and this was concerning to me.

Now I'm not going to pretend I like the idea of signing up for something. My personal opinion on the signup is that a signup is the biggest pain in the ass I've ever had to deal with in my life and I really don't like signing up for things. I don't like my information being out there. A lot of these things have never really worked for me but some of the things that have worked for me are generally taking control of it and not letting it out of sight.

Do you have a simpler way of doing a login? Is it just something, say, an email that you only use for one thing or the other? Generally there's always some limit to how far you can go with that. I found it to be helpful in the fact that if it just doesn't work after a 2-week stress test, generally it's written off as a scam. I personally believe anything that doesn't work within 2 weeks, if you don't see any sort of real growth in it, is not going to stand the test of time because 2 weeks goes into a month twice on average, which is the norm. Sometimes you get a 5-week month, really, but you do.

That's the one thing that always bothered me. If it doesn't meet the 2-week stress test of some form of growth, it's generally not going to work or it's going to take too long to be of any actual value now, especially in today's climate. Within the market of the greatest evil there's ever been known to man: money. Although some people say, "How can an inanimate object be evil? That is inherently evil based on the way it's being used by people today." It's a tool that is meant to be only used as a tool and people are using it as more of a weapon to hold people back. Progress has been stopped for the sake of profit and that is an extremely bad thing.

I guess the first thing I decided to do upon realising all this, which is a whole lot of information to really take in, is to stop and think about it. You think, “Wow is there any hope?” I want to be honest: I still don't think so. I still don't think there's any hope on the internet, depending on where you stay. Really your geographic location can be the biggest hurdle for you in some instances.

Now I've had 14+ years of trying to make the forex market work for me as a forex trader. Not that it's gone necessarily bad. I have made more than I put in, in theory, but the amount that I've been able to take out, as the saying goes, is nothing to sneeze at. In my case you wouldn't be able to sneeze because it's not even enough to make dust, to make you sneeze.

That was all because I listened to all these fools on YouTube, the strategy and that strategy. That all messed with my head so much that I forgot what I learnt on Baby Pips years ago, when I first started the journey and I actually made something of it. Going back to those basics was the stepping stone that helped me come out of the hole that I'm in.

As I'm sure you can tell by now, by reading this, this is not a success story but more of a story of caution. It is also to say that you should really watch for that clickbait. There's so much of it out there but that doesn't mean it's all necessarily untrue. There might be one or two gems among them. You just have to think critically about it.

One of the other things that I tried was drop shipping. That was not a good experience either. The problem is everybody has an idea and if everybody has a product, there are many with that same or similar idea or product. Of course people are spoiled for choice and when people are spoiled for choice the odds of you being picked, even if you say, for example, "hat, hi, pick me," are that you're not going to get picked. If people are spoiled for choice they have so many choices that they can choose from and since people are very different there's a very low likelihood of success. Drop shipment all comes down to straight-up luck. If you weren't lucky enough to pick the right niche and something that you understand, you generally wouldn't make too much money, if any at all. In my case I did not make any.

Does this mean it's generally all bad? Not necessarily but that's for you to decide if you actually check it out. I personally would not recommend drop shipping from my personal experience. The others who have made money from it could also be because they started off early before it became oversaturated. With more and more companies now trying to clamp down on the amount of revenue they share, and with all these extra side partners being really slimmed down, it makes me wonder: Is it still going to be here tomorrow?

What would be better for this excerpt? I hope you enjoyed reading. Hopefully it didn't put you down. To light things up I will proceed to this. On this page there's lots of information on crypto, which I find very helpful, and I'm thankful to the writers for compiling the info on crypto. I hope to, in future, post some of my own based mostly on experiences with crypto and how it's actually been quite helpful. Since I've not really experienced the dangers, sometimes reading the stuff on you is quite scary but I hope you'll read more of my stuff and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
