I was going to post a different article for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge this week but this one is even better because I would say by the end of this.. my LAND and Card Collection is a remarkable moment. But I guess that is what happens when you spend yet another $100 ingame on a shopping spree..

YUP, I am back at it again. Another influx of crypto and another maybe bad idea. But hey that is what I do and I document it along the way. I have a general idea of what I wanted to buy and I knew I had just enough Ethereum to buy those things. But then I found a little extra "satoshi's" in the couch cushions. Which means... I get to have a little more fun with this Day 4 in the Series.

I will preface though, I have some big plans for my other 'fun-money' crypto after this so this may be the last "Whale For A Day" for a little while.

But enough talking... let's get into it!

We Started From the Bottom...

Conflicts

The last 2 Whale Day's I bolstered up my Conflict Game a little. It could definitely use some work but for now it works for me. There is going to be 9 Conflicts so I got time baby.

LAND

I currently have 9 plots of Land. They all reside in Region #143 'Dryae Tor'. There is only ever going to be 150 Regions so Land is getting picked up quick these days... #Foreshadowing....

If you read my previous 'Whale For a Day' articles you know that I am trying to up my Land Game and get a Stone and Iron plot of Land so that I can be 100% self sufficient. Well it hasn't been going so well so far lol.

Yeah I know it's rough. The Staked DEC isn't a problem (anymore). It's just the fact that now I don't want to buy crap cards to level them up to use temporarily working on my land. If I am going to waste money to stake a NFT.. I might as well buy the good ones and slowly accumulate more of those good cards.

Account/Collection Power

I have been slowing growing my Main Account and I am pleased with it's collection power so far. But I do need to get it more better cards so that it can do better in WILD.

I do really like that last time I bought some SPS to stake. It was a BOSS level move!

What Is My Strategy Today?

I will let you in on my secret. I am going to go buy a crap ton more Plots of Land! I know, I know, you think I lost my marbles. But here me out here.

I have 9 plots in Dryae Tor currently and they are only 2 Grain, 1 Research, 1 SPS, and then basically the rest are WOOD. Which is No Beuno!

So I started to look at picking up a Stone plot in another Region and a Iron plot as well. But that is when I saw this...

Yeah you see what I am seeing? A lot of really cheap plots of LAND. I also noticed that Dryae Tor is basically 90% WOOD plots so like it's pointless to keep trying to buy plots there. I think the best course of action is to do this.

Region: Dryae Tor
Keep my Grain plots because they only require well Grain to operate.
Keep 1 Wood plot to require less transfers.
Keep my SPS and Research Plots because they are my nice plots.

Region: A Different Region TBD
Buy a Stone Plot
Buy a Iron Plot
Buy a Grain Plot
Buy a Wood Plot

That way this new Region I will not have to transfer in resources and have to pay the 10% fee. But I will have to pay the fee to move those resources to Dryae Tor for my SPS/Research Plots.

So I started looking at Regions that had the most plots for sale and had a Floor price of $20 or less. I thought I could be SUPER sneaky and find a Region that have 1 of each resource land for sale semi cheap. But that's a HARD NOPE.

So my new strategy is find a Region within the same Territory (Shimmering Coasts) that has a cheap Grain and cheap Stone plots. Then another Region that has a cheap Grain and cheap Ore plots. It requires like triple the amount of Grain plots which means triple the amount of staked DEC and staked cards. But this is what I get for waiting this long to be logical...

Searching for what I want is taking FOREVER. I am using MonsterMarket because the built in Splinterlands search function and UI is trash.

Thanks to @nozem01, he recommended Region #28. And low and behold I found a Grain and Ore plots for $50 or less!!

That is $49 or 55,211 DEC spent on those 2.

What is nice is that they both have the worksites built on them already!

Lunaden #59

I finally found another Region but it was pricey to get what I wanted. But it was the cheapest I could find.

1 Grain Farm and 1 Stone Mine plots for $60... ouch

That is 65,293 DEC spent on another 2 plots of land!

... I need a Mental Break. That was too much Brain Power. I will be back tomorrow.

Now onto more fun things! When "Tasoshi Drakamoto" was released I managed to scrounge together some Vouchers and buy 1 of them. I didn't really use it that much but now that it got buffed and mana reduced. I really want a Level 2 card.

I mean just look at that beauty! And who doesn't like a Card Name that is a play on words based on the Founder of Bitcoin?

Which means obviously that I need to buy 3 more of the card!

It is a $4.50 card which can get pricey but I am a Whale today after all so YOLO!

Which set me back 15,001 DEC!

Okay whatever I am taking the 4 cards and making it into 1 card. Jeez that was hard.

Hot Potatoes, I love this card! Miss Drakamoto is a certified Bad-Bitch fo-sho!

Archon Time?

I went through my past bot battles in WILD to see what Archons it uses frequently. And beside the expensive Archon's, my bot has used these 3 Archons the most today. So I figured I would pick up enough of each one to level up my card to the next level.

Image Card Name Cost Lyanna Natura (Earth Archon) 2 for $0.538 Delwyn Dragonscale (Dragon Archon) 2 for $0.52 Obsidian (Gold Foil Earth Archon) 2 for $2.622

All 6 of those cards came out to be 4,147 DEC or $3.68.

Buying Gold

Now I am just going to go through and pick up cheap Gold Foil cards that I do not have yet. I figured it's a solid investment.

All of that for 20,306 DEC or $17.998

Then End (For Now)

With all of that out of the way I have spent 159,958 DEC. Which at the current price of $0.00088 that is $140.76 spent! I think that is enough for a day or two!

My conflicts didn't change which is fine.

But my Collection Power went from 187,040 to 198,020. Which isn't a ton but it's progress.

I already posted screenshots of my LAND but that is where the majority of my $$ was spent.
