Another Week another Splinterlands Challenge! If you are not in the know you can read it here.
I have thought a LOT about what I wanted to write because I recently made a post about my Splinterlands Recap and Overview of the last few weeks and I don't want to just post to post you know? But then something happened..
I had another night where I couldn't sleep, so it's almost 6am and I haven't slept yet so like EVERY other time this happens... I make poor choices (or good choices?... not sure quite yet)
Messing around in Splinterlands
I was just looking around Splinterlands. I played a few battles. I lost those few battles. I checked on SPS earnings and claimed it all. Which I am up to 2,799 SPS staked! I know it's not a lot but its great for me!
Then I thought I would check on my LAND and see where my buildings were at, as in how many days where left on them. When I realized I was severly understaffed on 1 of them. Then it dawned on me that the Chain Spinner cards I had building my last Building were not being utilized and I couldn't find them as available cards to put to work.. Did some digging and.....
and all of them but 1 had this on it!
WTF so apparently once you remove a card from a plot of land there is a 3 day unstaking period. Which I knew that but what I didn't know is that you had to manually select them to be unlocked. So now I wait 3 days for the cards to be available.
And I know they are not super great cards but it's what I got to work with.
That is when I had a idea...
To the WAX Blockchain we go
I came into some $WAX over the last week or so (about 1,000 WAX to be precise) so I did what I always do...
I started to pick up a few cheap cards cause YOLO!
And then this happened
And this is where it may have turned into a bad idea..
I started to pick up more cards and 1 new card I didn't have yet.
But then things got out of hand and I just started to buy any card that I hadn't seen before. And before you know it I spent like 700 $WAX on Splinterlands cards.
Why did I do this?
Well if you read my last post in regards to Splinterlands, I am starting to come up with a new strategy. Now that I have a alt account to play with Brawls on for our up and coming Guild.. I can't play both accounts actively. So once Conclave Arcana gets released and Chaos Legion moves to WILD.. I am going to start playing in the WILD Format and also maybe use one of the bots around to automate it if its worth it.
But in order to be really worth it, I need a bigger range of cards to use so that is why I started to pick up those cards that I don't have.
Hive is my long term investment/strategy so investing now into it while I am still earlyish into Splinterlands is a smart move! Or at least I think it is 😉
