I already posted about how I sold my Land Claim Plot on December 31st 2022 and how stoked I was. But I think it's only fair to write about my most recent memorable moment since coming back to Splinterlands in 2025.
The day was... January 14th, 2025 (yup yesterday lol). I will get into that in a bit.
Upon coming back to the game and this new Modern/Wild format.. I don't have the DEC to play "WILD" so I am stuck on Modern which means Rebellion and Chaos Legions. I have 66 cards from Untamed and 13 Beta cards. I have/had 79 Chaos Legion and zero Rebellion when I started back up.
I have since accumulated 23 Rebellion cards (already upgraded some). I say all that because I knew early on I needed DEC. I didn't know how people were paying 2,000 DEC each season for WILD unless I was missing something. I needed to get DEC to be able to buy cards and other things. That was priority #2 (Priority #1 was battling to earn Glint).
So what did I do? I went into my inventory and sorted by only GOLD cards and I had a few but 1 stuck out to me. It was a card I don't remember ever using. Acid Shooter..
YOLO time baby. I listed that bad boy for sale to be the lowest market price at 4134.015 DEC
And oh boy it sold ASAP. I was in SHOCK that
A) the card sold that fast
B) the secondary market was that healthy that cards get picked up that quickly
C) that I had thousands of DEC in my wallet
You can see I ended up buying some cards with that DEC and it is helping my tremendously already.
And to be honest when I pulled 2 'Ujurak Brave' Gold cards this morning I wasn't mad because I knew I could unbind it and sell it for DEC profit.
