I think it is well documented at this point that I have a problem. 😁 I get an idea and I just run with it. And it is not only until AFTER I complete that idea or are just too far into it that I may regret the decision. But this time I think I won't regret it but honestly we won't know until it's too late!
⚔️ Conclave Arcana is around the corner ⚔️
I am not going to beat a dead horse because..
- That is just weird, and whoever even came up with that saying honestly?
- We all know the new set is in Pre-Sale now and will go live here shortly.
- We all saw the new Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge about it.
But I will say that.. I am getting ready for it like no other Set release before (and because Rebellion was released when I was on my 2 year Hiatus from Hive so there's that).

I already purchased 20 Standard Packs:
Which entitles me to 2 Promo Presale Cards which are the "Arcane SKinwalker" card.
But also I am very close to unlocking 1 Wagon for the Conflicts. I have never done Conflicts before because well by the time I came back to Splinterlands the Rebellion ones were already over with.
So I need at least 5 more Standard Packs purchased to unlock a wagon...
And I need more DEC so down this Rabbit Hole we go!
- First we need to get more HIVE to buy the DEC with. So we get some LTC sent over to swap for Hive
- Now we gotta swap Hive for DEC
- Then we transfer from Hive-Engine to Splinterlands
Now we buy 5 more Standard Packs!
Now with that I am up to 25 Standard Conclave Arcana Packs ready to be opened. But what I am missing is enough potions for those packs. And what better way to get potions than to buy them with my Glint! 😁
Currently I have 100 of each potion:
And if I can Math correctly that means I need 25 more of each potion (Legendary and Alchemy).
Now I have enough potions for when I open my 25 Standard Packs. Hopefully I get something decent. But to circle back to the actual point of this article.. I am excited the most for Conclave Arcana to when I get to open my packs.
Sure I opened some Chaos Legion packs back in the day. And yeah I opened Rebellion Chests and got soulbound cards. But these packs when I open them will NOT be soulbound and will be mine to buy/sell/trade/delegate as I see fit. Do I plan on selling any of the cards? Nope!
But I also have a secondary account now that I have to keep in mind. I also have Land plots that I need to keep staffed and busy. So I need more cards and this is the best way I know how to pick up 125 new cards for Splinterlands.
Is it the most cost effective way to purchase 125 cards? No. However, it will be the most fun way to do it. I know everyone will be posting their Pack Opening articles and such when it gets released and I am excited to see what other people pull.
- Will I get any Gold Foil cards?
- Will I get any Legendary cards?
I seriously can not WAIT until I find out what I get.
And let's not forget Conflicts! I am stoked to try that out and see what it is like. I am also stoked because right now I have a allegiance to this guy:
But maybe that changes if I get mainly all Elf cards or something. Either way the unknown is exciting and I love that this is bringing a lot of attention back to Splinterlands.
Side Note:
I would be lying to if the reason I am buying all these packs and opening them day 1 is not have a advantage in the Modern Format league early on. For so long I felt like I was behind the curve in Modern, with coming into Splinterlands Rebellion so late. Everyone had decent cards, had decent strategies and this is going to totally level set all of that and I want to get ahead of the curve!
And let's be real with ourselves here....
I really want this guy too if by some miracle that is even possible. Stars if you are listening... please align yourselves when I open my packs!
