I am not good at Splinterlands. I am not in denial I can see that. But in order to get better I have told myself that I just need more cards to pick from. That MUST be why I am sucking so bad. Am I delusional? Well I guess we will find out once I have more cards won't we? In Splinterlands they have their own marketplace to buy cards from other players. The currency used is $DEC.
And since I have limited DEC I need to buy my cards somehow else. How limited you ask? This limited lol
So with that in mind the next obvious answer would be WAX baby. I cut my teeth on WAX. Been there for longer then I have been using the HIVE blockchain. But WAX has been my primary web3 gaming blockchain for the last 5 years (doesn't help I quit using anything HIVE about 2 years ago and just recently came back). That being said, I have more liquid tokens and $$ over on WAX so it is there we are hunting for some cards today!
NFTHive is my platform of choice for NFT buying, selling, transferring, everything. If you don't know they have their own token $Honey that you earn some for every purchase or sell you perform on their site. You can then stake that $HONEY on NFTHive to earn passively on a portion of the secondary market selling fees.
I keep it simple though and just go to the Market and search for the Splinterlands collection
Then I sort by lowest price at the top. Because I am not THAT rich lol
Now before I bought my cards there was more variety but I basically bought up all the cheap cards (except Chain Spinner because I already have enough of him).
Here are the cards that I purchased today. In total it cost me 31.99 WAX so roughly $1.22

I was too impatient and submitted a Support Ticket already. Last time I did this the Support team told me that there was some issue with the Bridge so in order to get your cards you would need to open a ticket and have the team push it along. But I waited 2 hours to see just in case first.
And now we wait patiently! 😉
Okay well it was over the weekend so I give the team some leway but Monday morning I opened Splinterlands and BOOM got my cards. You will see a popup like this with all your cards listed.
Click on "Acknowledge All" and you will have all those cards in your inventory.
Now it's time to level up the cards that I can.
First up is VENARI WAVESMITH
I actually use this cards quite a bit so getting it to level 2 is nice!
ANTOID PLATOON
This one I don't use but am looking forward to maybe
HARDY STONEFISH
So, this level up did nothing as far as stats go so that's cool haha.
That is it for all the cards I could level up to the next level. But I did add a few cards I didn't have before so that's the main thing. Levelling up I am not too worried about yet because my Summoners are all low level 1 or 2 anyways.
