Here we go, fighting off that Monday blues with another round of Share-Your-Battle in Splinterlands! ;)
I am happy that this week features Tenyii Striker, another unit I really like to play and see most of the time on the other side of the battle field, as well. (When facing Fire Splinter, of course!)
As always my focus is on Silver league in particular! You encounter unleveled bcx1 monsters in this league for the most part.

What is all my buzz about this unit?
- 2 Damage and Sneak for 5 points, that is it! Simple and plain! ;)
- To elaborate a bit further the Chaos Legion standard summoner "Tarsa" is a real match with the Tenyii Striker. (Now the obvious:) Together Tenyii Striker gets 3 Damage and Sneak for 5 Points.
- For 5 points even the unboosted health of 6 is really decent. Again Tarsa gives another boost.
- Initiative of 2 is not good, but compared to other Sneak monsters (which usually have initiative 1) it is still decent.
So plain and simple the Tenyii Striker is not a unit where you have to think of complex situations to find its real use case. Just combine Tenyii Striker with Chaos Legions' Fire summoner Tarsa and you will have a really good unit for only 5 mana points.
I personally find a lot of reasons to use Tenyii Stiker in low mana matches, as well as in mid mana matches.
Only in high mana matches I sometimes find it hard to include Tenyii Setups in my setups. Not because the unit is useless, but just because I still got points to spare and for 8 or 9 mana you will usually find an even better unit
But still I gave it a try in this week's (high mana) battle I want to share with you:

Go go go for the hard facts: 56 points (high) mana cap, Wild format.
When I saw the enemy's setup I thought like this was the worst possible setup for my team. Why? -I faced a lot of shield stats which in turn would make my monsters need to hit at the very least twice at each enemy monster.
First round did not go well for me, as was to be expected. However this was a bit of my tactic when I chose two tanks, thus two monsters that have high life stats.
Next round was another round where I received massive damage, but luckily I myself dealt more than enough damage for half of the enemy team and especially enough for the opponent's high health monsters.
All the way the Tenyii Striker provided some precious support by attacking the backline of the enemy and thus "marking" the enemy backline as next target for my Opportunity monster.
Tenyii Striker ended the match with a final blow and well, that's all, folks!
Although the Tenyii Striker was the cheapest monster on my side of the field, it has provided me some substantial support!
And as always if you haven't heard about Splinterlands at all, but you are eager to support my quest for the Legendary Gold Foil card. -Feel more than welcome to use my sign-up link: https://splinterlands.com?ref=jdike
