Evolved from the merely sleeping, crying babies a year ago …

Yesterday, I had to decide if I wanted to make a customized card for the occasion as my brother's children turned 1!!

Last year I recalled how much anticipation we had here about the delivery operation. Till the last minute we were a little anxious on whether the babies will be born healthy, whether the mother would be fine after her delivery surgery etc.

Then, the video of the new born babies were sent to us an hour later. They were tiny babies that were sleeping, crying and their looks were not well formed as they are now.

Bloomed to active little gown babies from a tiny baby…

Now, the babies look much grown like little girls and they don’t cry as much, but crawl, and are very active doing something or other with parents completely overwhelmed with their energy levels as supervising them and entertaining them was all they could do in life since the babies were born .

The baby children have lovely hair and visible new teeth as well. They can understand whatever is communicated to them very well.

Babies have inspired me to make cards themed on them on 3 occasions

I have not seen these babies in person, because my brother lives in the US, and I am struggling to get a visa here and even so, I decided that I have two cats to cater to at my home in India, so not much chance of me leaving them somewhere for months to check these kids out.

They are my nieces of course!! And many times after seeing their videos or seeing them live on phone I am inspired to make cards themed with their essence. This is why as my brother’s and sister-in-law’s birthday and wedding anniversary came last year I created personalized cards themed around their life together with the new addition of the babies to the family.

The theme was on the special wonders of parenthood, and my brother and his wife were delighted with my card messages.

Smart active babies, who know how to unzip stuff!!

I always see the vibes of joy, trust and love freely emit out by these baby children which makes one quite subduedly mushy inside, not to mention they are damn cute and they keep doing things that are so amusing and delightful to watch.

Latest I saw of them was when one baby(Baby Hamsa) was crawling around and climbing on to a very small table surfaced kind of object, with my brother telling her not to do that because she will fall and he was asking her what on earth she doing anyway?

Later, this baby wanted to go inside it’s play area, which had baby toys. It was an enclosure tunnel that was zipped. Her twin sister, baby Maya crawled there wanting to go inside for which she was patiently opening the zip of the tunnel enclosure.

Then suddenly, crawling Hamsa squeezes herself inside the tunnel, even though the zip was opened only slightly. My brother and others there erupted in laughter of course. Finally, baby Maya followed baby Hamsa into the tunnel to fiddle with their toys.

 My customized cards are very personal and touching, only for special occasions!

Finally, I decided to make a customised card for my nieces’ first birthday. My customised cards are pretty special and priceless because I paint abstract touchy things like love, joy so soulfully and with the context of what holds dear to the person, so the end result is the person who reads my card messages have their heart melting(:

Ok, I might be exaggerating, but it’s pretty close…

This time I confess, I could not create that kind of delightful card message. This was because I am not in form, what with the crypto Luna-UST crash, and other problems in life, I was not inspired enough to write the card message.

Still, somehow I made this card message. It was difficult for me, because I could not use Canva because my computer reboots whenever I use Canva. I made this card using Photopea… struggling with alignment, colour, font etc. I would have created a more indepth wholesome card with substance if I was inspired enough.

Birthday Wishes to 2 little girls who turn 1!!

Here is the card, they were embedded with real photos of the baby children, but I don’t have the permission of these babies' parents to post their photos on public domains, so replaced them with dummy photos from pixabay.

Here is the message I wrote in the card -

Finally the Grand 1st Birthday arrives…,

So much grown from month old babies to crawling, walking, explorer babies
Fast the time has flown with these growing babies now a 1 YEAR OLD.

Still a exciting journey awaits them as these two newly experience the world around them

Let their world and life’s learnings be exciting and enriching!!

May their personalities bloom with their silly and naughty antics lightening moods of those around them

Let the remaining days of Babyhood groom them into free spirited children, unshy of being themselves

 The idea behind the card message…

The theme of the card were the bloomed babies, from tiny babies to crawling explorers, expressing that they have a lot of first impressions to form learning about life through their experiences exploring the world around them. Hopefully, that journey will be exciting, enriching, grooming them into little children who are sure of being themselves in the world.

What I could not express in my card message

However, I could not do justice to the babies personalities, as they do some naugthy antics here and there, also the love they show is pure, without judgement, and it’s just charming. Maybe that’s babyhood innocence. I also love their free spirit where they explore everything actively and do what they feel like doing. They are so free to be themselves.

I believe, their souls are un-corrupted, that’s why these baby children are delightful at this stage.

I hope my card with its message was good enough, having some substance.
