NFT Platforms:

The #NFTs is the new fad of this alt season. Every Tom, Dick and Harry has either become an NFT artist or buyer. Whether they a thing about art, music or values of the goods sold as the NFT, they have entered into the market for buying the NFTS and looking of a greater fool to sell the goods they purchased. In reality, they think of NFT as just another crypto that needs to be bought and sold at a higher price. But there are some instances they get stuck with NFT whose value is not growing. We can see how to trade the NFTs in another article In this article we will various NFT platforms.

Opensea:

Opensea is one the largest NFT trading platform which supports only the ethereum based NFTs (ERC721 and ERC-1155 tokens ). Currently, you can mint only one copy of the NFT. However, it provides various tools to create and trade the NFTs. There is no cost to mint the NFT offline. But when you want to trade and list the NFT, you have to pay the Ethereum gas fee for listing in the platform which is quite expensive nowadays especially if you are new and planning to sell your NFT for sub $100. Of all the platforms. I tried this one supports NFTs of a larger size and different formats like jpg,gif,mp4 ,png etc. So if you have 3D art or gifs, then Opensea:  is the right place to list. Opening an account is far easy, just need to connect with your Ethereum wallet via metamask or ledger or connect wallet. The option to set the price in multiple ERC20 tokens is also available along with Ether, wrapped ether etc.

Rarible:

Rarible is an advanced version of Opensea platform. However, the aim of Raribe is to become a DAO in the future and so if buy or sell NFT on rarible you may win RARI tokens. Here you can mint multiple copies of the same NFT. It mostly supports digital art and ERC1155 tokens. I have not seen ERC721 tokens traded there. Good platform for both buyers and sellers and other features of opensea also applicable for RARIble.

Niftygateway

It another platform built over #Ethereum and supports both ERC721 and ERC1155. It is supported by #Gemini exchange and has a lot of drops from Premium Artists. So if you are a buyer of quality NFTs then it is the right place to be but not the right place to display toddlers' art.

AtomicHub:

If you are frustrated by the high ether fees that need to be paid for minting your NFT and selling it, then atomic hub provides you an option to create, sell and buy NFT on the #EOS platform. Atomic Hub uses #WAXP #cryptocurrency for fees which is far cheaper than ether and also required very little in quantity.  So you may need to create a cloud wallet for wax if you don't have one already. Very user-friendly and easy-to-use platform and WAXP can be easily bought using credit cards via the platforms. Care should be taken when you are uploading files of large sizes as the platform may not accept the gifs, jpg, and png files beyond 10 MB. A lot of game-related NFTs are available along with fake ones. So care should be taken while purchasing it.

Crypto.com:

Crypto.com is the latest platform to jump into the NFT space. Though it claims to be running on the crypto.org blockchain, i couldn't see the wallet address for an account. Also, the transaction is recorded on the blockchain with the trade details added as a message rather than an actual transaction. Also, I couldn't find the asset storage. So due care needs to be taken before purchasing the NFTs. I good advantage is that you can buy the fixed price NFT using a credit card directly. However the same is not available for bidding in the auction. Also, crypto.com account is not mandatory, but better to have one if you want to buy NFT in the crypto.com/nft platform.

JGN NFT

The next one we see the JGN NFT which is very much similar to Rarible but is based on #BSC #Binance Smart Chain. As it is based on BSC, the fees are much affordable. Here minting and putting the NFT for sale happens in the same step and hence fees have to be paid at the beginning, unlike opensea where you can mint the #nft without any fees and even transfer it before even putting it for sale.

Foundation APP

Foundation App is invite-only platform for artists. So to become a member and display your NFTs, you need an invite from an existing member of the platform. Once you are invited and endorsed, your NFT needed to approved via community voting to get displayed. The quality of the NFTs speaks for rigorous selection criteria and so it is the most sought platform for experienced artists and choosy collectors. Again platform is on Ethereum and so high fees.

Mintable APP

Mintable.app is the most convenient for newbie artists who are reluctant to spend upfront and in transaction fees. The Platform actually allows to mint and list the #NFT free of cost if you are listing without creating your own store. The platform supports both #ethereum and #zilliqa blockchains and so you can mint on both chains. Also the platform suggests which chain to choose depending on the listing prices of the NFT. However, the platform supports only fixed bid prices and not auctions. Due to the easier and free-of-cost entry, one can see a lot of memes selling as NFT in the paltform. Also you can mint the mintable NFT for becoming a part of DAO process.
