Giving feels good, doesn't it? Having the ability to give is fortunate.

My virtual Basic Attention Token (vBAT) was set to expire October 30, 2023 if I did not verify it with one of Brave's custodial partners. So, I gave it all away. Shout out to the commenters on my last article (SPOOKY! 👻 vBAT not in custodial accounts is flying away! 🦇) whose suggestions were appreciated.

I donated to five different non-profits, and it was surprisingly easy... well, finding Brave-verified creator charities was not easy, but the donating part was. Here's how to contribute to a Brave creator:

• Load the creator's web page in a non-private Brave window.
• Click the BAT icon in the top right of the location bar (ensure the creator has a blue checkmark, indicating it's verified).
• Click Send Contribution.
• Specify the amount of BAT to send.
• Click Send.

If your vBAT is expiring within the next 48 hours, consider donating it to a creator or charity you admire.
