Just learned of some really disappointing News. I do try to remain an “Optimistic realist” only problem I have just discovered is that my country now falls under the no tier area which means we get paid the least for referrals and also Ads which are currently not available in South Africa will also be considered last if and when they do decide bring expand on countries included in ads option. So very disappointing since I have been actively promoting @Brave and @bat in my country

I have been actively promoting Brave to all my friends family and clients, and assisting with installs and singing praises of Ads to come and and… and. And now you say we tier nothing not worth a mention in any Tier, lol wow, feel gutted and annoyed.
Guess I should remove, links on my website and stop posting articles on tons of platform I use. Must say I am very disappointed, really was pleasantly surprised at how well it all worked and the rewards etc. and uphold wallet and it all, like I said I wrote a lot of posts/articles about how well I was rewards for referring people. And was really looking forward to South Africa being included in the Ad program, am sure you could check I did refer quite a number of active users,
Oh Well, was great while it lasted, all good thing come to an end right.

Thank you for using the Brave referral system. We have a pretty important change coming up and we wanted to give you advance notice.
The per user payout rate will be changing from $5 globally to variable rates depending upon the region of the user
Why are we doing this?
When we launched the referral program, the goal was to discover which areas would we see the most growth and to test the viability of the referral program as a whole. Our level of zoom was pretty wide (Planet Earth) and the rate was $5 per user, globally.
Since then, we have launched our Ads program and we want to shift our level of zoom to more regional efforts, with a specific focus on the areas where we can deliver ads. This is a straightforward business decision.
When will this occur?
We wanted to give you as much advance notice as possible, especially for those of you who are promoting Brave via ads.
Here is the planned timeline
August
- Initial message (this email) explaining the rate change and timeline
September
- Announcement posts and reminder email regarding the new rates.
- Rates change
October
- Last payout of $5 referral
November
- The referral dashboard will be updated to reflect the new rates.
- First rate card based payout

Each country is assigned to a tier, each tier has a flat rate.
