There's a bunch of scams around that promise you free crypto, but turn out to be a letdown at best. In this blog series, I'll present to you several apps and ways to earn crypto. All of the apps and ways presented in this blog series are tested and validated by me personally. I'll also try to give each one a rating, so you'll have an indication of how viable it is.
Coinbase Earn
When it comes to Crypto Exchanges, Coinbase.com is one of those top tier players in the sector. And while most people know of the affiliate program they are running, fewer people know about the Coinbase Earn initiative.

It's available both on your desktop and mobile (app) experience when you are living in one of these countries:
Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, The United Kingdom, and the United States.
How does it work?
Within your Coinbase interface (wether on the site or in the app), you have the Learn and Earn section. Here Coinbase will publish a set of videos every now and then. Sometimes several a week, sometimes once every couple of weeks. Each set of videos is centered around a specific coin or token and tries to educate the user on the functionality of said coin or token.

Each video takes about a minute (or less) to watch. After completing the video, you'll get a question about the content of that video. Usually these questions are really low-level and you'll probably be able to answer the question, even without watching the video. For each question that is completed successfully, Coinbase will deposit an amount of crypto to your account for free.
Also, Coinbase is not limiting what you're allowed to do with the crypto you've received via Coinbase Earn. You can sell it and buy other crypto with it and can even send it to another exchange.
The only downside is that there is no regular schedule to the Coinbase Earn program. This means your monthly rewards might fluctuate. But the rewards very much outweigh the effort you need to put into this. So grab yourself a Coinbase account and start earning and learning.
Rating
My earnings: $3 CLV, $4 GRT, $3 AMP, $10 XLM, $9 COMP
Time spent: Kind of hard, since EARN opportunities don't come on a fixed schedule. This was over about 3 months.
Brecht's rating: 3/5
