While I have been doing lots of cleaning and fixing around the house there is only so much to occupy my time in terms of household work for the moment.
(To be fair i did spend the first half of my day fixing the en-suite bathroom and the faulty sink in there so it was a productive morning. Turned out great too. Better job than the other ones in the house which were done by the pro's. Just saying.) 😂
With all fun activities of the menu for the near future there was one thing that I had wanted to try since getting involved in STEEM and technology in general and that is to learn more about how it all operates. How do people create these things and how do they work???
I am coming into this world with zero to no skills in computers and have always wanted to know more about how it all works.
Jumping into https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-programming which I was shown before there seems to be a decent course with a lot of the basics to get started.
I have never had the time to delve into this properly before but with everything happening right now and having lost a lot of love for blogging and using the blockchain in general after the past couple of months I though it might be the best time to up skill and learn a few new tricks.
I will try to complete the whole course over the summer and do it in the proper order with all of the modules. I don't have a huge amount of free time as I am still working but would like to make use of what i do have.

- Intro to SQL: Querying and managing data
- Advanced JS: Games & Visualizations
- Advanced JS: Natural Simulations
- HTML/JS: Making webpages interactive
- HTML/JS: Making webpages interactive with jQuery
It all sounds very intimidating but I will give it a go anyway. Who knows I might even get to like it and get some use out of it. Better than watching Netflix every day at least.
Only 15 minutes in and I've drawn my first snowman. I feel like i'm 6 again. Who wants to put it on their fridge door. :D
It might take a wile to designing computer games at this rate. Have fun.
