An emergency is an unforseen event or condition requiring prompt action. If an emergency can last indefinitely imagine how that would effect how '911' works. If a first responder went out on a call that lasted 6 months or longer, think how many first responders you'd have to have.
There is no emergency. Emergencies are temporary.
Communities and government are diligently working to destroy private business and personal liberty. The language of violence is helping them.
I live near the Georgia coast. My home is in the path of the hurricane evacuation route. Governments all along the coast "Mandate" evacuation when a hurricane threat is imminent. However, they always add the disclaimer if you do not evacuate do not call emergency services. No one is coming to save you. Why do they add this disclaimer? Because legally they cannot make you leave.
Hurricanes can create an emergency. It is, however, temporary. Restrictions that governments impose during this time allow flood waters to recede. They give clean up crews time to clear debris. They allow time for electricity and other services to be restored. Then, guess what? The emergency is over. It's temporary. It doesn't last indefinitely. Every report from officials is about how quickly residents can get back to living their lives. The effect of a hurricane coming through may last longer but the emergency is over.
Emergencies are temporary. Anything else is a way of life.
What we are experiencing now in our nation's general response to the C-Virus is not an emergency. I would make the argument that it was never an emergency. First, government officials must not have access to dictionaries either online or in print. The definition at the beginning of this article clearly states emergencies are temporary. Second, an emergency requires prompt action and then you return to your life. That's it. No more, no less.
Through fearmongering and the language of violence, we have accepted that words have new meaning. Lockdowns are what happens in prison when there has been a violent incident or staff believes contraband is on the premises or they want to control prisoner actions in some way. You can't "go to war" with a virus. Besides that if going to war with ridiculous things worked there would be no drug problems in communities. Emergencies don't last indefinitely and people die everyday. Numbers and statistics can be manipulated to support a number of arguments. Mainstream media reports numbers with the intent to manipulate your perception of what is happening. Read that again, let that sink in. If you're scared you are in a stress state. You cannot make thoughtful, rational, reasonable decisions. Stress states aren't a way of life. They, too, are temporary (at least they should be) and designed for short-term events, for survival.
There is no emergency. We, as a nation, have accepted this new way of living. We have agreed through our silence. We have agreed through our go along to get along mindset. We have directly and/or indirectly communicated to local, state and federal governments that we will do anything they say for an indefinite amount of time.
No one is coming to save you. You must save yourself. You are complicit in the destruction of your life. You have allowed it. You have given away your power because you want the government to take care of you. You don't want the responsibility. The truth is you have always had a choice. You weren't wearing a mask last year during flu season but you could have if you wanted to. You also weren't shaming people for thinking for themselves last year either. You've always had the option to educate your children in an alternate way but you needed a babysitter. Now, you're sending the message to your children that a piece of cloth will keep them safe and strangers pointing guns at them to take their temperature is normal and healthy.
People from all over the world risk everything to come to the USA. They do not do this to live in an oppressive regime. They do this for choice. Freedom of choice is integral to your quality of life. The language of violence keeps you scared. Choice is slowly being eliminated and your fear is the cause.
