Today we will be talking about the ongoing Neon pizza event and its features.
Neon District launched their first pvp event with a pizza themed event, in this event you can deliver pizzas to earn neon or ambush other delivery agents.
Pizza delivery
Players send teams formed by 4 to deliver pizza to earn NEON, that is used to buy Gear Crates that drop weapons and armor or can be used to buy juice and parts which are used to level up characters or upgrade armor and weapons.
There are currently 2 tiers available to deliver.
Tier 1:
- No ambushes and earn some Neon per delivery, as sweet as it sounds a player can only run 42 shifts in Tier 1, but as said you will get a good amount of Neon to get Gear Crates, characters or juice.
Tier 2:
- Earn x3 Neon per delivery but you can get ambushed by other players, a player can only be ambushed once per delivery regardless if they win or lose.
Delivery's rounds take approximately 8 hours and will approximately make 7-9 deliveries depending on each delivery’s time and as said before you will earn Neon per delivery, the reason for that is because you can bank it if you want, it is recommended to bank it if you are in Tier 2 as you can get ambushed.
Ambushes
If you are more of an ambusher you can send a team formed by 4 attempting to steal 50% of a player unbanked or potential earnings on their current delivery but you can’t ambush with a team that is on delivery that means you will need a new team for that or wait until your delivery team ends their shift.
Before ambushing you can see the stats and cards of each character to decide if you can challenge them. All ambushes have a flat fee of 5 Neon to attempt, and a successful ambush will steal 50% of the unbanked Neon from past deliveries plus 50% of the potential Neon earnings of the current one and ambushes are resolved automatically by AI. Once you gathered enough Neon you can fence your stolen tips for a flat fee of 40 Neon the remaining will be deposited directly into your account.
In addition, everyone that has played Neon Pizza mode during the first week, received a ‘Hot Out of the Oven’ badge. And players earned rare gear by completing missions before the leaderboard reset on February 2nd, Rare Delivery Gear will go for those who complete five delivery shifts and Rare Ambusher Gear will go for those who attempt five ambushes, it doesn’t matter if they won or lost.
How active is the community?
Neon District minted over 100.000 NFTs on Matic network thanks to more than 2200 players since the Neon Pizza event started.
Those NFTs are gear, clothing and weapons that characters can use to boost their stats and don’t forget Neon District will be available on Steam this year on July 1st.

Is it too late to start playing?
No, its not too late for you to jump into the game without investing. You will get 1 free character and 400 NEON, enough to start playing the game and doing some tier 1 deliveries.
