RollerCoin Season 5: Beach Party - A comprehensive guide

Hi Rollers!

Welcome to another Season of Rollercoin, this summer we will have a beach party!

This new Season started on the 9th of June and will last until the 31st of August.

There are a couple of new features that I will list below to keep you up-to-date with the new event.

Hat control panel

A new feature implement was the Avatar Hats which you can equip you avatar with a hat obtained from previous Seasons or with hats that can be obtained winning prizes in this season.

This is merely a cosmetic feature to customize you user avatar, it will not increase the amount of power or coins mined, however it is nice to see new collectibles being added to new game. You will be able to unlock the Super Mega Cap and the Beach Bucket during this season. The Hat given on the 4th anniversary of RollerCoin is another one you can customize although it is no longer obtainable.

Another skin that can be obtained during the Season is the Summer Mining Room skin, which looks awesome if you ask me. Again, this is purely cosmetic but any F2P player can obtain it!

Miners

There are 13 new miners in the game season pass that premium members can unlock. The Raver Crab is the new freebie miner that free-to-play players can obtain. However it only provides 1Gh/s and a mining bonus of 0.01%. It is more of a decoration than anything. The end-pass miner (Speedster-9000) is one of the best looking miners ever created in RollerCoin despite not being one of the most powerful miners ever released.

Prizes

The prizes are divided between 45 levels - if we can call it. At level 1 you can obtain a Flamin-Go miner with 50.000 Gh/s of power, however it's only obtained if you are a premium member. The collectible hat is obtained at level 12 and there are 2 new collectible statues (at level 28 and 44). For the F2P players, the first miner can be obtained is at level 13, a RollerMiner R4 which provides 6.000 Gh/s and a bonus of +0.5% mining power (the bonus is quite good imo). Each week you can obtain 135 xp for consecutive daily log ins. Since you need 100xp to level up, this miner would be achieved by week 9 without completing any quests provided.

Marketplace and other features

Despite this changes, a long waited feature to be implement is the Marketplace, and Crafting 2.0 which still hasn't been released yet. Polygon and Solana tokens still can't be withdraw too but it seems that a new major update will happen during this Season's event as reported in Rollercoin's Blog on May 27.

According to the Roadmap, it seems that we will have a bunch of mini events during this Season! With 3 "Unannounced Events", I suspect that the Economic Overhaul the dev team keeps talking about will happen in July.

Final Thoughts

I am super excited with what seems to be another great season of RollerCoin. Despite being a F2P player I really like to earn and build up my mining room with all the collectibles and miners I can get and earning a small amount of crypto while playing this game.

I am still a bit anxious and reluctant about the Economic Overhaul that is supposed to happen. I hope the developers fix the long cooldown times on the minigames and some ridiculous power shortages that happened in other seasons to make the game more zestful and fun.
