The kid is away for the day so I figured I just may attempt to make some stuffed cabbage. Being Polish and Italian, it should be in my bloodline so we will see how it turns out.
It is a little time consuming since you have to first cook some rice and boil water for the cabbage so the leaves come off easy. All in all, one of the least expensive meals to make for how much many meals you get out of it.
Stuffing:
Ground meat, rice, egg, garlic, onions
Sauce:
canned sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce
Roll up. Toss in oven or pot
