Crypronauts we love ya!! & we love Miami.  Well Wynwood anyway. Tho we thought it is sad that the Solana temple - erm embassy - is closing, so we went over to check it out!! Well, also to try & earn that 10$ of stablecoins they promise for in store visits, and cop some free schwag!! 

What was the verdict?? the guys & gals working there were awesome, total sweethearts.   & since the store is closing, they are dishing out the schwag!  But Solana? meh, not so much. 

The fateful day came - they are only open for two more days!! We downloaded a Phantom wallet!! 

& there the Solana letdown began.  Download a bonus code!!  In a four hour old video, some you tuber said do it, do it they might give you an airdrop!! OK in for a dime, in for a dollar. Wait ya have to go on a wait list with an email!! Wait, no ya don't, there's one available. All it gets is a couple of extra wallet features in beta.  Maybe - we don't KNOW!!

Because the Solana letdown CONTINUED.  Network was DOWN all day.  Yes, that's right, it's a softy hard fork that ain't working, well it IS working, but so slow - no it is NOT working.  As CryptoFab tried to tell us.  Yes, yes Solana fans SHOULD worry, Fab!! Hey we thought Solana was super duper fast n reliable!!

Anyway, we took the dog and walked over.  Man, France & Ireland SAY they are cool with dogs but in reality, maybe yes, maybe no.  High end French restaurants - MAYBE - Irish apartment rentals - NO.   Miami?? The giant sign at the front of the Trader Joe's says no dogs except service dogs - but the dude at the door just waves ya in!! 

Solana staff was really sweet to the dawg- they said they had seen him around the nabe, and commented at the time how human he seems!!  Nah, he's all dog, but he's having a great life, & he's a lover not a fighter!!!  

So the dog & I approached a demo with our shiny new Phantom wallet.  & Solana network said NO.

Staffers were all good tho.  They all said the same thing - this place is your place, it's for you, enjoy it!! Have some obscure coffee you can make!! Everything was for sale, at high prices??  but they also were giving away lots.  With  tight inventory control, gotta respect them for that!! & they did NOT even want your email!!

We scored a tshirt our wife HATES, a beach towel!! cool, needed, but oddly black infested.  We turned down their fave black shirts schwag, cuz the solar situation outside is already FRYING our Irish softened arse.   We wanted and got a "DEGEN" hat even tho it was black - but it was so tiny we could never fit it on our head!! Even tho the Fetch AI gimme hat we scored elsewhere fits FINE!!! 

Did the Solana network pop back up?  it DID --- not.  A big funny - the weird "giant's causeway" live graphics of nodes working away in some reason - just kept on working away.   Now, we ALL knew it wasn't real time -it should have been a LOT faster if ever it was!! But it wasn't just slowed for visibility, it was 100% a tape loop, playing fake data all day while the network was down. 

For a minute, we thought we should not kick Solana while it is down.  But THEN we thought - hey, Solana was SAMMYCOIN!!  Plus, dear readers know it's the Wall Street way to kick em when they're down.  It's safer!!! And Solana is DOWN down down.  Bitcoin's one year print is down about 50%, but Sol is down 75% YoY, and over 90% from the ATH. 

Dead cat bounce today tho!! & If y'all mad at me, anyone with a normal size head who wants a DEGEN  hat should tell me, I will send one slow boat if you say your are a Sol fan, and a follower who referred someone.   LIe to me if ya have to!!  Late breaking music TLDL:  & if you are still a Sol fan we love you EVEN MORE!! Good on ya!! Cryptofab!! 

Gotta run to Coconut Grove early in the AM, wish us luck. But after that, if any Sol fans want to send us to scrounge any specific Sol schwag - coffee cup?? Stickers?? Give a holler,  we can try again tomorrow!! & we will send it along with love from us to you!!!  Seriously, give a holler!!  We will tell them it's for you!! 

The Solana staffers spoke about Web3, how it would remove silos of info.  How Hyperspace Transfer Protocol would replace HTTP!!   we said huh, we thought Web3 was about the little people owning their info!! They agreed!! Then said how universal basic income people will give up the data on if they made their bed or not!!! Which was good?  & the dawg said  wait what what WTF?? Ah well no more lonely days then we reckon!!
