The seed of doubt, planted, grew. Oxers who loved Atomic Wallet turned against it, we chose not to understand. Until Atomic Wallet's history function went beserk with zillions of TRON trade hallucinations. Still we believed, cuz stupid. Finally, whoever Atomic uses for credit card transactions ripped us off SO godawful bad, MUCH WORSE than the REGULAR giant gaping spreads. USD / EU exchange rate was applied backwards on top of the pitiful spread rip. Support responded, finger pointing and legal weaseling. Wife realized what a moron we are. The trust was totally gone. Still have ~50$ locked in Atom and AWC we can't get out, don't wanna get ripped again to buy gas to unstake.
Here's a quick funny. won AWC in May 2020, AWC @40 cents. Magic Publish0x effect made it 2x. Year later, two dollars!! We held, cause idiot. Market lost faith along with 0xen, AWC now 40 cents, lol.

Tally Ho! is a DAO. SOME righteous souls there, true believers, will keep their chit straight, we believe. Don't believe us? Well, D-oh's Luna Terra Ponzi algo stablecoin was tightly centrally controlled, and did a thermonuclear crater setting crypto back years. DAI, on the other hand, hit loads of algo stablecoin troubles, doing a weird inflationary death spiral at one point. MakerDAO stepped in. And FIXED IT, and DAI is now a top twenty coin.
What's the biggest ever DAO f-ckup? That would be DAO Coin, which got hacked. But goodwill was so strong that ETH hardforked to give back all the funds and let DAO coin die in bed, surrounded by loved ones. Some still b-tch, but compare THAT to Luna / Terra non DAO destroying 50 billion bucks of money. Just don't make us watch Vitalek "rapping."
Cause we believe in DAOs, now. Hopefully forever. 
Corporations rose up and got a lot of good done for humanity, sort of better than many gummints for a while, now arguably MORE evil. Can DAOs turn evil? Maybe, but not yet. They are designed to self correct bad actors. DAOs are really only ~six years old on ETH. Malta made DAOs legal in 2019, but effed up the concept by nailing down a central manager. Wyoming made DAOs legal a year ago, keeping it decentralized while allowing pass through LLC taxing that avoids double taxation like corporations face.
Surely a gang of evil -ssholes will figure out a way to game DAOs, or maybe an actually honestly evildoer DAO will form. Our observation of evildoers tho - it's all about concentration of power so that's unlikely. Like the Stalin group pictures meme where everyone disappears one by one. Or decision makers in D'oh Kwon's circle.
Right now, we trust TallyHo!!!'s DAO brand. They are not just a clone, writing their own code and honestly keeping it open. Like Linux back when we thought Unix would save & improve the world. Which it did, like MIT's opensource licenses. We believe TallyHO!! will be truly open code....They’re hard core copyleft Richard Stallman-esque activists. 
OK, we admit we are shallow label whores. But we defend that. In today's overcomplicated world with infinite choices, trust in a brand, trust in a label, helps a lot of people lots of the time. We trust Italian suits to hang tough despite motorcycle abuse. Much > British, Amercian, German or French suits, even if all are quality. The seams don't rip & sag so fast when exposed to 100 mph rain, we deeply believe that. We love our German and Japanese steel. There is a lot of truth to the old Euro heaven /Euro hell joke.
Down a notch, everyone loves certain brands of clothes, or motorcycles (has Honda ever built a superbike that was not value for money??) for style, value, dependability, it is often true. People judge politicians by who & what they support or hate. There is a lot of deeper truth hidden there, to be false in one thing is to be false in everything. Sample testing is this: - can't test everything all the time, so execs take a sample & judge the whole from the part. Shakey, but inescapable.
We trust Tally Ho's auditors and audits, but mostly cause generalized brand / DAO loyalty warm, happy fuzzy glow. We think Tally Ho's Merkle airdrops will rock, makes us remember the hate we felt when mystery -ssholes dumped MNE on us all, Tally HO won't do that!!!
The Tally HO bounty list looks like smart folks thought about it a lot, and are offering real coin for meaningful work. Unlike the distrust many have for loads of bounty lists , social ones centered on spam. Reading the Tally HO blog, they are doing the best possible job of fair early mining, all important early distribution, balancing being open & adopting community code with fairness.
Our code chops or even roadmap strategies are not under focus. Let's get back to that DAO branding! The really really great thing about Bitcoin? There is no centralized owner. We LOVE Vitalek, but of course a lot of people on whatever side will think he says something stupid at some point and hurts ETH. Best part of Satoshi is his radio silence.
Is Tally Ho the ideal, truly decentralized model to fulfill their goals of actually doing best for the community? Maybe!!??!! Will MetaMask always make the right decisions in who to partner with, or might they slip up once in a while cause centralized ownership and management? Some people whinge about exactly which monopolistic company ConsenSys has chosen to tie in with for this or that. Welp, to fully trust that, do we gotta trust the life choices of this dude then? 
Horses for courses, we DO trust Aaron to code like a house afire!! Till the drugs or braincells run out, anyway. The point is, nobody rules OK. And everybody together is better than anybody. Any single point of failure s-cks.
Others say, probably unfairly, that JP Morgan owns Metamask. Dunno. People do say that the TallyHo wallet has lower gas fees on swaps than most. Well, we DO believe that whatever diluted power JP Morgan still has will be be used to urge MetaMask to charge what the market will bear, and also to stay away from competing with JP Morgan, & not cannibalize JP's markets. All the big boys are involved in everything these days anyway.

We're much to lazy to go on Github and ask the right way, but c'mon, Taille Hauters, for god's sake talk to Brave or something and trick out a browser that we only open when we want to use the wallet. Call it the TallyHo Warm Wallet Browser. Make it appear standalone, only opened on demand, ya gotta admit that would reduce the attack surface. Yes, if our laptop is 100% compromised a standalone wallet app is going down as well. But right now, when we drive a browser over to the hardware store, wallet extensions act as a giant bumper sticker shouting CRYTPO INSIDE!!!

Do we love hunting dogs? Our half-brother in law broke MSU protocol at trout camp this spring JUST so we could watch his gorgeous, vibrant hunting dogs work the field, all over WaWaSum trout camp. Bruce is the most upstanding man in the world, worked his way up to a a huge CNO private hospitals gig, owns the most exquisite Italian featherweight hunting hardware we have ever held and would never pay for. Bruce just did it for love cause we said we were taking the MSU Karens dog ban personally. Just to cheer me up. Now we want a Griffon pretty bad,
