Cryptofans, we love ya!!! We are BACK!! jetlagged, and that noise you hear is our ass dragging down the street. But man we missed y'all! and writing the daily love letter to y'all and to crypto, counterpointing the FT anti-crypto narrative!! Thank you for being here on the superhuman Pub0x, saving the world from fiat abuse!!! It is SO important.
So, where are we?? Crypto is over 1.1 trillion. There is BOATLOADS of crypto news!!! but not so much in the FT ar ar ar !!! that's ok cuz we have to get up at 4 AM local time tomorrow ( jet lag should HELP ar ar ar ) to drive the wife to the airport so let's HIT IT!!! Reading music - for y'all pub oxers, for crypto, WTH why not
Today's salmon lady!!! The finest tradfi newspaper in the world!!! WE pay the two bucks a day so yall don't have to!!!
Ruh roh, crypto on the front page!!! Sez here In 2025, the UK will decide if they should do a CBDC!!! Hint: they will.
TLDR: last year the House of Lords said that CBDCs were a solution in search of a problem. Now, the FT starts to pave the way for UK CBDCs.
The REAL story: it's funny, the market has already spoken when USDT Tether blew past Visa and Mastercard with 18 trillion in settlements. Quit lying FT!!! Or, tell us another one - how is it again that the nosediving pound sterling can hold a CANDLE to the ass of stablecoins?? The FT is HALLUCINATING here. Oh, the adoption of the UK CBDC could be so huge, so dramatic that it might blow up the banks!!! Ah ha ha ha HA HAH!!! Oh yeah, lil Britain is just gonna kick Big Tech's butt with their stellar monetary prowess AR AR AR !!! Dream on baby, dream on.
Bonus funny - the UK took all the old 50 & 20 pound notes out of circulation. Now, their own web site says if you try to trade in your old notes, the window is only open from ten to three and the queue fills up for the day long before three. So they encourage you to MAIL the old cash in (what could go wrong) but even then, expect it to take 30 days to come back!! Oh yeah, that's top flight customer service there!!! A clear forerunner of the massive coming success of the pound CBDC!!!
Crypto that dare not say crypto in the FT!!!! The dog that cannot bark cuz the FT surgically removed canine vocal chords!!!
TLDR: Nigeria decided to swap out THEIR fiat notes. Similar to the UK story, things ain't going so well. Most people that continue to use the abysmal Naria use it as cash, not online. The outgoing president says even with an extra year, the fiat swap will STILL be a horrorshow.
The REAL story: it's very funny!! Two points of course not in the FT. First: hey boys n girls!! Wanna see a REAL chitcoin?? Everyone these days keeps saying oh, 99% of crypto is NGMI!!! That is NOT #$(#$&#$(& true by market cap, by the way, only by the mode count of chitcoins. But 99% of fiat REALLY ain't gonna make it!! Lookit THIS beaut:
TLDR: even Sugarfix can't find a dead cat bounce in THAT train wreck!!!
But the BIG point - it is inexcusably evilish of the FT not to mention - for reasons just like these, Nigeria LEADS THE WORLD in crypto adoption. Over 50% of Nigerians flip crypto every month!!! Only the regular, poor, slow moving people take the hit from the assoholic central banks playing games crushing lives to influence elections. Not in the FT, never in the $#($&#$(#&$ FT.
One more crypto that won't say crypto: dear readers know our distain for Agustin, leading the world of central banks and XXXXXL tailors everywhere. Now, no one, including the FT, will print a recent full length picture of this example of zero self restraint, so we have to go with a painting:
TLDR: every picture tells a story don't it? Oh yeah, we all want to trust this man with the control of the world's money. Anyway, the FT publishes his latest agitprop:
TLDR: well, too wide didn't read anyway ar ar ar - Agustin blames inflation on anything but the central banks that caused it.
The REAL story: Agustin repeats the lie that central banks operate for the public good. Now, a simple logic problem - explain the actions of the central bank of Nigeria effing with an election above. Or better yet, explain the actions of the 100% corrupt central bank of Ghana. Then extrapolate.
Obviously not all central banks are good. Actually, obviously not even arguably good central banks are all good. Really actually, the BIS stole a nation's gold to give to the Nazis to fund war!!!! & then the BIS went downhill from there.
Finally, exactly one new crypto that says crypto article today in print, none online. Mostly news free, continuing the FT’s pitiful cheerleading for the demise of DCG:
TLDR: DCG is selling off some Greyscale. DCG for their part goes all honey badger. It’s just a simple normal haircut baby!!!
The REAL story: DCG ain't going nowhere, FT. but more importantly: Take a victory lap, mighty Watch Army!! Yes, the subliminals are still just as negative as the clever graphics monkees can make them. Note the ongoing blood red, fading into black background. Note how the coins trail off down to the right like a suicide note!!
But, thank the lord, at least the FT has quit with making the bitcoin and eth ACTUALLY BLACK this time, nor are they ( THIS time) portrayed as black, being held by a black hand being hit by a white hand from above with a hammer!!!! Member?? that was AWESOME!!!
They heard us!!! They fear us!! Laugh at them some more!!! Our strength is the strength of ten cuz our heart is pure & we are on the right side of the arc of history BABEEEE !!
OK peace out, we love ya, gotta crash. Thanks for being here we are doing the right thing!! & it's working !!!
Love,
Dave
