Brendan Blumer, one of the leaders of EOS, has been criticizing Bitcoin. He is particularly concerned about the slow transaction times, the low number of transactions per second, and the high transaction costs.
Block.one's 32-year-old CEO behind the development of EOS cryptocenter, one of the largest platforms for building and deploying decentralized applications (dApps), has identified Bitcoin as fundamentally significant in how financial transactions between two parties will be processed future world economy.
However, according to Blumer, Bitcoin's transactions are expensive if annual block-based inflation is taken into account. Blumer estimates that users pay an average of $ 50-100 extra extra per transaction. At the same time, he says Bitcoin is limited because it can only handle 3 transactions per second (TPS). These factors are huge constraints for him.
Of course, not everyone agreed with Blumer. Especially on Twitter, @vakeraj wrote: "Let me explain why it is important for moderators to have a technical education." The moderator did not respond at all to the fact that he spewed one lie at a time as he promoted his scam EOS. "
Blumer himself also responded to this "tweet", saying that Bitcoin is actually a fan of it, but nothing can change it in that it is slow and has expensive transactions. He admitted, however, that he hoped to achieve Bitcoin mass adoption in the long run. He said on Ego that his goal is not to compete with Bitcoin because it was designed for "different uses."
