Polkadot is not only a competitor of Ethereum. There are so many smart contract competitors on the market that nobody can say which one will win, and at the end of the day it could be Ethereum anyway because their market share is so huge that it will be more than challenging to take it from them.

Polkadot is first of all an asset with pretty good staking rewards: more than Cosmos Atom, less than Zilliqa, but Polkadot got more visibility than ZIL.

As it is a good asset to invest it, Grayscale is wondering whether or not they should add it to their portfolio. Well, they are also hesitating with Aave, Cosmos Atom and Cardano, so it will be one of them, right? But my little finger tells me that Polkadot will likely win the race. Just a gutfeeling.

What is also interesting is the new projects that Binance is launching on their launchpad platforms based on Polkadot blockchain. Just have a look. It urges Binance users to stake DOT, which has two meanings: 

• When DOT is staked, it is not sold, so it pumps the token value higher
• Do you think that Binance would launch new projects to get more DOT if they did not believe in its potential?

As you can see, several big whales are thinking about it at the same time: Grayscale, CZ at Binance,... Frankly speaking, it looks more reliable to me than the sudden increase of BTC because Elon has written Bitcoin on his twitter profile, right? When Grayscale list a coin, it means something. That's bullish.

Now, for the daily traders, I suggest to look at the 4 hour chart below. As you can see, DOT has hit the MA(99) line and has started to rebound on it. The next step is a new All-Time-High, i.e. above $19.41. The $20 psychological threshold looks so close... just a little effort, and it will enter discovery mode.

A little tip before leaving: the DOT chart below is similar to... SNX. Although this token is quite different, SNX could also hit $20 soon. Weird coincidence:
