How to create a NFT Collection on the Telos Blockchain:
If you followed my guide on how to create a Collection over on WAX then this should be super familiar as it is basically the same. However, I have included the steps from start to finish for the Telos blockchain. So that you can start minting over on TELOS and earn that sweet sweet Crypto!
Step one is to head over to Nefty Blocks and change the blockchain to Telos and login with your Telos wallet you should have created at this point. If not it's super simple and read my previous post linked at the top of this article.
Once you are logged into Nefty Blocks click on your name and then click on 'Create'
That will bring you to your Collections page. In the upper right hand corner click on "Create Collection'
Which will bring you to this page.
The Collection Name: must be 12 characters and all lower case. It can be numbers and letters but must be 12 characters long.
This can NOT be changed later.
The Display Name: can be longer then 12 characters and have uppercase letters, special characters and spaces.
This can be changed later.
Avatar IPFS Hash: This is just the IPFS link to the image you want to use for your collection.
This can be changed later.
Description: You will need to input a description for your collection.
This can be changed later.
Market Fee: What percentage of the sale prices do you want to collect on every secondary market sell action? This can be between 0% and 15%.
This can be changed later.
Socials: From what I can gather you can only put in 1 social link so pick your Twitter, Facebook, Discord, Telegram, Medium, Publish0x, MySpace link in here.
This can be changed later.
The advanced settings are just for adding to the 'authorized accounts' or 'notify accounts' lists. You can skip this for now.
Now that you have everything inputted that you want you can click on 'Save'. Keep in mind that everything is changeable later EXCEPT the 'Name' of your collection.
If you do not have staked TLOS for RAM then you will see this popup asking you to either pay a minimal fee to process the transaction or to "proceed without the fee" to see if the network will push it through for free.
And now you will see your collection!
