It’s another story for another time but essentially my son’s student care centre went under unexpectedly. So I had to take care of him in the afternoons. It might be a blessing in disguise because we finally took a stab at working towards attaining I Am A Marine Biologist certification offered by Singapore Science Centre. I had applied for access several months ago but never felt that I had the bandwidth to guide him through it. Then, he did some Maths questions from an online platform called KooBits. His school paid for subscription for all the students, so I guess it’s a legit way of learning. Then I got him to do 10 Grammar MCQs so that I can pinpoint his weak areas. Quite an intensive and pretty productive session.

So, for all homeschooling parents, what is your child’s study routine like? I recall @Scoresby telling me about Khan Academy if my memory serves me correctly. More importantly, how do you sustain a full day of studying? Right now, he is watching YouTube while I am sipping black coffee at an eatery near our house. Shagged.
