My Crypto And NFT Portfolio: Pie Chart 2023

My Crypto And NFT Portfolio: Pie Chart 2023

In this article I wanted to report my crypto portfolio: the holding part for the future bull market (we hope for 2025, after the Bitcoin halving in 2024). You should always make a portfolio with a percentage breakdown, being careful not to overexert yourself in altcoins.
It is true with altcoins it is possible to earn more than with Bitcoin, however the risks are much higher. Think about what happened to the Terra ecosystem: one of the largest in DeFi (in 2022 it was the second largest ecosystem, after Ethereum). For these reasons, I divide my portfolio into:

-Bitcoin
-Ethereum
-Altcoins

Bitcoin is the safest asset. This does not mean that it is risk-free but that if Bitcoin "fails" it brings down the whole sector. If, on the other hand, an altcoin of the caliber of Luna or Solana fails, the implosion is huge but temporary. Even Ethereum with the increase in dominance could have disastrous effects for the whole sector in the event of its bug. The reasons are easily explained: Ethereum is the largest DeFi ecosystem. All the biggest stablecoins are born in the native "erc20" format: USDT, USDC, BUSD. If the Ethereum blockchain goes down, it takes over 400 billion dollars with it (between Ethereum, its erc20, all DeFi platforms and stablecoins). All this to say that Ethereum can no longer be considered a simple altcoin but its importance is almost equal to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin: 45%
Ethereum: 15%
Atom: 15%
SNX (Synthetix Network): 7%
Polis (Star Atlas): 7%
Juno, EVMos, SCRT, Stars: 7%
Luna (new): 2%
Umami (Arbitrum token): 1%
Radar (DappRadar): 1%

I have excluded from the calculation the stablecoins that are used to buy in down (they derive from the profits of the bull markets, airdrops, farming, staking, etc). Compared to last year, the biggest disappearance is obviously that of Luna (which today is called Luna Classic but which has literally become a shitcoin). Luna (new) is the token born from that crash, I would have liked to sell it but the final part I have left is in "vesting" and will unlock over the years. I have also excluded some tokens that I own in small quantities, such as Across, Persistence, Osmo, Rebus, Wynd, Teritory, Jackal, Cheqd (usually Cosmos airdrops).

Blacklist: in this section I point out crypto that I personally would never buy (excluding memecoins and shitcoins, otherwise the list would be very long!). The two main ones are Ada (Cardano) and MutiversX Elrond. As I have always reiterated, they are two cryptocurrencies from toxic communities. About Elrond a few years ago I also did an article on Publish0x but my vision has changed drastically: centralized project, lots of marketing and little else. They changed 3 names in a few years: Elrond, Egld, MultiversX.
Are you an Ada/Elrond holder? That's great. Hey, this is just my blacklist. You are free to invest in whatever you want!

NFT INVESTMENTS (PORTFOLIO)
I have a part of the portfolio also exposed in NFT. Mainly the biggest part is present on Sorare and Star Atlas: 60%. In the remaining 40% there are some projects that I have been following for some time: Invisible Friends, World Of Women (WOW), 3Landers, Immortal Player Character (IPC) and Cereal Club.
