The trend of NFT and gaming has exploded in this 2021. I'm not a fan of useless NFT (CryptoPunks, ApeBored and the like) but I see a value in the NFTs that allow you to earn crypto. Tag Protocol allows you to buy hashtags that become NFT (via mint). What is a hashtag? A word followed by the # symbol that allows a post to go viral! For example #Bitcoin or #Crypto. How does it work? I'm looking for a hashtag on Tag Protocol and if it's free I can buy it. After I buy it I will start earning the $TAG token, every time someone mentions my hashtag on social networks (in particular on Twitter but not only). Who checks the hashtags on Twitter? The protocol uses oracles. Based on the use of our hashtag, this will be included in a ranking that will distribute the $TAG token to the holder every hour. The ranking is based on 21 ranks:
Grade 1 (you take more $TAG)
...
Grade 21 (you take less $TAG)
Each grade shows the total of $TAG mined which, however, must be divided by the number of hashtags that are in that grade.
The rewards will be halved in 230 days (a bit like the Bitcoin halving!) to decrease token inflation (mining). So the hashtag (NFT) mines the $TAG token because they are staking!
What's the price? Every time 5,000 hashtags are registered, the price increases by $ 50. The maximum number of hashtags that can be registered is 100,000!
HOW TO BUY A HASHTAG
The blockchain used is the Binance Smart Chain so you will need $Bnb and Metamask.
1) Send $Bnb to Metamask and connect on the site Tag Protocol
2) You search for your favorite hashtag and register it. It will be auto-staking and every hour, some oracles will pay the $TAG token.
As I wrote it will be possible to register only 100,000 hashtags, after this number the hashtags registration system will use auctions with a $TAG token burn mechanism. In this second phase, the hashtags will only be bought with the $ TAG token (this could create a $ TAG price increase):
