In this article we will see how to participate in the Sandbox Alpha Season 3 and earn many rewards in Sand, the Sandbox metaverse token that can then be sold for other crypto or fiatcurrency on Binance or Coinbase. I bought a land for $80 in September 2020 and resold it in January 2022 for $14,300 (4 ETH, excluding Opensea fee).

I really believe in Sandbox, however the opportunity to take this profit was too big so I sold it. I will probably buy another Land in the future when the opportunity arises (low floor). Do you know what a land is? Well if you don't know it, you have to know that it is the game universe in which you move! It is a large NFT where assets (houses, shops, cars, characters, etc) are inserted. Whether you are a land owner or not is not important anyway. You can participate in Sandbox Alpha Season 3 and earn lots of rewards in Sand simply by completing missions in the metaverse. I will tell you everything you need to know!

HOW TO EARN SAND
First of all, I would like to point out that the season is open to everyone, therefore not just land or alpha pass owners. It is also of course free to play. Only one avatar and the KYC will be required. In reality, recognition is not required to play but if you want to receive rewards, it is necessary.
To play you can sign up via email and use Metamask directly. The season, where missions are to be carried out, lasts 69 days. Hundreds of experiences are available with over 20 prestigious partnerships (including The Walking Dead, The Smurfs, Atari, Snoop Dogg, World Of Women, Warner Music Group, Steve Aoki, Bored Ape Club, etc).

The missions are not unlocked all together but day by day (10 weeks: 69 days). On the map you can read which missions are immediately playable. What needs to be done? It will be necessary to collect certain objects, interact with an NFT (for example with Bored Ape), talk to a character, etc. There is also the release date for future missions. Each completed mission is 1 EP (experience point). For example, in the Alpha Lobby level there are 17 EP to be collected out of a total of 1022 EP (for all levels). To reach level 5 all you need is: 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 EP = 300 EP (so you don't have to collect all 1022 EP). What are EP for? To get rewards in Sand tokens or raffle tickets. In the "rewards" section you can see that at the completion of each level (there are 5 in total) you will get raffle tickets and Sand tokens. You collect 20 EP (20 random missions) so you can go to level 2. If you do more 40 EP, you go to level 3 and so you are at the fifth level! The fifth level entitles you to the maximum raffle tickets (then there are other ways to get them too!).  Raffle tickets will allow, through a draw, to win the Alpha Pass 3 (it is worth several thousand dollars and allows you to receive Sand tokens from the various missions). It is possible to earn 500 raffle tickets from the missions, another 500 if you put Sand in staking, then carrying out challenges, inviting friends or having the alpha passes of the first 2 seasons.
Furthermore, by participating in the missions and completing them in the shortest possible time, you enter the leaderboard where the first 10,000 players will earn Sand tokens: 30,000 Sand for the first and so to climb. The 200th takes 1,500 Sand and so on. 1 Sand is worth about $ 1. About 10 months ago the value was 8$!

There are also additional rewards in Sand guaranteed for completing each level:

1) Land Owners (maximum 180 Sand, if 5 levels are completed)
2) Avatar owners (60 Sand max, as above)
3) Sandbox NFT holders (30 Sand max, as above)

I make a summary:
1) Complete missions and earn EP points. Each level has a maximum number of EP. 300 EP is enough to complete the 5 levels (out of 1022 max, completing everything)
2) EP allow you to earn Raffle tickets (to try to win one of the many Alpha Pass 3 at the end of the season; it is worth thousands of dollars) and Sand tokens
3) EP get you onto the leaderboard and you can earn additional Sand for the first 10,000 players who collect the most EP
4) Get Sand and Raffle Tickets by inviting friends, staking Sand, holding some NFT, owning at least 1 land, etc)

Basic commands:
W= forward
S= back
A= left
D= right
Space= jump
Shift= rolling
E= interact with the characters (where there is the "!" is used to unlock the new missions)
O= options
X= sit down
Z= walking / running

Missions have varying difficulty. Most are done in minutes (or seconds). Then there are some more complex ones and others that require some skill. For example, in the Avenged Sevenfold mission you have to jump on the various stairs to reach the highest point of the tower and complete the last objective. You have to be careful not to fall!

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO PARTICIPATE?
Participating in the season is absolutely free. How to start trying Sandbox? (which I remember is still in beta), here are the steps:
1) Go here: Sandbox Game
2) Register with email and password. KYC (required if you want to receive rewards)
3) Also connect Metamask (wallet)
4) Download the client to play and log in
5) Create an avatar and start playing (not all missions are immediately available. The season runs for 69 days!)
6) From the Sandbox site you can see the missions to be carried out, the progress made, the rewards, the ranking, etc
7) Rewards will be distributed at the end of the season (you must complete 300 missions and reach level 5 thanks to EP. The missions are trivial and everyone has the opportunity to complete them, 20 minutes are enough for the longer ones. Some are done in minutes. You remember that if there are 7 EP in a land, you can complete 1 EP out of 7 EP, 4 EP out of 7 EP or 5 EP out of 7 EP and resume later if you wish. Important is that you earn EP, before you go out. If an mission plans to collect 25 items to make 1 EP, if you collect 23 out of 25 and quit...you will lose the 23 you have collected! When you collect the EP, your progress is saved!)
