Introduction.
Copytrading has democratized access to financial markets. Anyone with an account can invest in an experienced trader and replicate their results.
But there’s a problem: most investors only see the last 180 days of history.
And what about traders who have been consistent for years? Where does their long‑term track record go?
This is a suggestion I sent to Bitunix support, and I believe it can improve the experience for all users.
The Problem: 180 Days Are Not Enough.
Many investors need to see at least 1–2 years of history to trust a trader. Because anyone can have a good quarter. But maintaining consistency for months or years is what separates professionals from the lucky ones.
Bitunix currently allows viewing only the last 180 days of activity. If a trader has been active for longer, their older history disappears — along with the evidence of long‑term consistency.
The Suggestion: Categories for Active Traders.
To solve this, I propose that Bitunix create two categories of active traders:

Traders with less than 180 days → ideal for those seeking new opportunities, with higher risk and potential return.

Traders with more than 180 days → designed for investors who value consistency and long‑term stability.
The goal is not to hide new traders, but to differentiate luck from consistency.
Bonus: A Third Category for Inactive Accounts.
I also suggest a third category for inactive accounts: traders who haven’t traded in the last 3 months. They shouldn’t be deleted, but moved to this section so investors don’t waste time with idle capital.
This adds transparency and helps investors make more informed decisions.
Copytrading vs. Traditional Funds
One of the biggest advantages of copytrading over traditional investment funds is liquidity.
In a traditional fund, investors often see their money locked for 3, 6, or 12 months. If they need to withdraw earlier, they may face penalties or simply be unable to do so.
In copytrading, the investor’s capital remains in their own account. They can start copying a trader, stop copying, and withdraw funds at any time. No lock‑up periods, no early exit penalties.
That’s not just a technical advantage. It’s a paradigm shift: the investor keeps full control over their money. And that builds trust.
Conclusion.
Copytrading is not a game of luck. It’s a serious tool that requires trust. And trust is built with transparency, history, and consistency.
