"The Day the Blackouts Led Me to Publish0x"
A year ago, my way of creating content was very different.
I did analysis on YouTube.
I talked about markets, levels, risk management... It was my way of connecting with the community.

But reality changed.

The blackouts became longer. The connection would drop in the middle of a recording. And ETECSA (Cuba's communications monopoly), without warning, raised mobile data rates almost 10x.
Uploading a 5 minute video became unfeasible. Not only because of the time it took to record and edit it, but also because of the cost of uploading it.
So I had to find another way. And I found Publish0x.
A change I didn't seek, but one I'm grateful for.
With Publish0x, I don't need a stable connection to record. I don't need fast internet. I just need to write, and upload when the signal allows.
But what I didn't expect is that this change would lead me to a much deeper kind of connection with readers.
On YouTube, people watch a video and move on to the next. On Publish0x, someone has to stop, read, and process.
In an era of endless scrolling and 30-second videos, having someone take the time to read you is a privilege.
What this year has been like.

This year, CubanCrypt has been more than just a blog.
It's been the space where I could write about trading without having to be constantly on camera.
Where I could delve into topics that had been on my mind for a long time.
Where I could talk about psychology, risk management, and what really matters in trading.
And it's also been the place where I could share personal experiences: the blackouts, the losses, the challenges of trading from Cuba.

That's why I want to thank those who take the time to read.
It's no small gesture.
In a world where everything is fast-paced, where everything competes for your attention, you chose to stop.
You read. You thought. You shared. And that, for me, is what makes this space worthwhile.
I know I can't give you back the time you've given me. But I can continue writing with the same honesty with which I began.
I don't know how long the blackouts will last.
I don't know if ETECSA will raise the rates again.
But I know that as long as I can write, CubanCrypt will remain.
It's not a blog. It's a refuge. And you are part of it.
"In an age of speed, choosing to read is an act of resistance."
Thank you for staying !!
