In the last posts we focused on specific points of the Eggstravaganza event that had arrived in the nft card game Splinterlands. Now, you can take a look at what was missing most and take advantage of it and comment at the end on how the opening of 22 Major Chests went.
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
Easter Event Details
Starting with the new information about Eggstravaganza, in the ultimate chest there will be a 3% change in getting a skin, and there will be "Bunnified" skins with only 5 copies of each in which the characters will be customized for the Easter theme. This was a criticism I had made in a previous post, commenting that the skins that appeared in the store were not very related to the Easter proposal.
It seems that the team decided to put these Easter skins as a premium item... I still think they should have added something more interesting to the store for players in general, but the reason this didn't happen may have something to do with an internal problem, perhaps focusing on something else and the team didn't have time and at least they delivered something.
Another new feature regarding skins are avatar cosmetics, another piece of information that I hadn't yet seen. In the store there will be Bunny ears costing 5000 glint and the spring formal top costing 10000. There will also be a spring forest background costing 20k glint. Interesting to give more customized options.
22x Major Chest ;-;
In Splinterlands, glint has become a very useful and important resource within the game, as it can be used to improve the character, leveling up, it is used to get common, rare, epic and even legendary cards in draws, it allows you to obtain game resources such as merits and energy, and it has even more uses. One of the functions of glint is precisely to allow the player to open chests within the game to test their luck. Unlike "lucks" where you don't win anything, chests have set probabilities and always give a reward, even though it's not always what we expect.
Generally I choose to get the cheapest chest, since getting glint is not a very simple task in the game. This happens because in splinterlands, some factors influence the amount of glint you get per match. The first is the most direct, winning and losing, the more you win the more glint you receive, in other words, having a team with a high winrate is good. Furthermore, winning more than you lose increases your ranking and at higher ranks you receive more glint as well. Finally, the amount of SPS staked gives a glint bonus when winning a match. I believe that Gold+ rarity cards also give a glint bonus.
At the opening of the 22 Major Chest, the first line of 5 cards was already a bit disappointing. As it is a high amount of glint, I opened it more calmly one by one and in the first line came 2x Alchemy Potion, 2x Merits and only 1 rare card (x2). It was already sad, but continuing the next line was also bad, with energy, 2x merits and 6x common cards ;-; and to think that so far it's worse than in trunks that cost much less.
In the next 7x chests came 2x entries, 1x rare card, 2x common card and 2x potions. This reduced probability is very difficult. Now there are only the last 5 chances left in the chests... Finally, more common cards, entries and 3x Rare Scrolls arrived. In general, I thought the rewards were WAY lower and as I've already been saying, I believe the devs could change the chances one point, because it's discouraging to spend so much glint and not get anything interesting, instead of it being a cool moment to open something interesting, it becomes a frustration for having spent time, glint, resources in general and not getting something rewarding.
