It's been a while since I opened Gladius Cases; I've only been collecting Gladiators tokens, and I decided to open 23 Gladius Packs at once. This opening ended up bringing a new legendary card that I didn't have yet and some upgrades to 3 cards from the Gladiators collection. Check it out!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
Opening of 23 Gladius Packs
In the opening of Gladius packs, several common and rare cards were released, but the big news was the epic cards, with 3 Trapp Falloway, which allowed me to upgrade it to the next level, granting +1 HP. I got +1 card from Quora TowersHead, but it's still not enough to take it to the next level. Furthermore, in the epics there was also an Edith Emberstar.
An interesting detail is that some gold cards also came, including 1x Whistling Damon gold, 1x Witch of Warwick, 1x Kotriphus Bayne, and a Liza Fox. Another card I managed to upgrade was Katrelba Gobson, since 12 of them came in the packs, and with that I managed to upgrade her to Level 6, gaining +1 HP. This is, in my opinion, one of the best Gladiators cards available, and it's a common card.
Larissa Kerato & Upgrades
In this Gladius pack opening, I had great luck, getting an incredible legendary card from the Gladius collection, which is Larissa Kerato. This card is of the dragon element, which allows it to be used alongside another element during matches, due to the element's own mechanics. Regarding her stats, she has 2 magic damage, 3 HP, and 2 speed.
Furthermore, she's a mage card with double strike, increasing her total magic damage from 2 to 4, which increases the chance of stacking Bloodlust even more since she has two chances to last hit the opponent and the magic damage bypasses armor and hits directly at health. For cards with Bloodlust, I think a slower speed, like Larissa Kerato's 2 speed, is very useful because it allows her to be the last one on the team, or at least one of the last, to attack the opponent, increasing the chance of her being the one to eliminate the target and thus activate the Bloodlust ability and gain +1 to all stats.
One of the standout cards in the upgrade was Cutter Brieze, which gained the Shatter Shield ability, capable of breaking opponents' shields. This makes it a great choice for low-mana matches, as it only costs 1 mana, has two abilities, a very high speed, and a considerable ranged attack.
One detail worth mentioning is that the Gladius Pack's chances of obtaining rare, epic, and legendary cards are much more appealing for opening packs. I believe the team could analyze this to make the game more interesting for average players, because it's quite difficult to get reward cards and upgrade them; a legendary card with glint is almost impossible to obtain.
