So, I published my first post on the 1st of February, 2019. It's been 7 weeks and I've earned just shy of 7300 BNTY from 7 posts. So I've made around $20 USD. That's not too bad. Also, I've received some micro-donations of Dash and ETH from some generous patrons. Thank you all so much.
So, what does that mean? It means that, despite being in it's infancy, the Publish0x platform is attracting a lot of active authors and readers. I've noticed a few dubious accounts posting less than stellar material, that looks to be fishing for some quick coin. Another platform I utilize is minds.com, and I love minds, but they have a real big problem. 1,000's of shit accounts whose sole purpose is to post tons of repetitive pics, and do the minimum amount of engagement, for the maximum amount of minds tokens.
I'm not in the business of telling people what to do, but in this case I'm emploring everyone to stay vigilant, and if you see a lot of fluff posting accounts, pass them by. When they realize people won't tip garbage, they'll hopefully go away. I think it's important for the p0x community to stick together, and not let con artists, and shysters ruin a really good thing.
I see a lot of really passionate people on this platform, and some really good writers as well. Not to mention a lof of great coin projects are active on p0x, like @spectrecoin, @syscoin, @banano, @selfkey, @loopring, and of course, the bounty0x team -- and it shows a real drive to promote their projects. They could just stick to steem or reddit, or medium and do just fine, but they see the value in engaging this new community, and that the future of crypto depends on decentralized commerce, social networking, and information.
We're making it happen here, and it's just going to continue to grow.
Now, I know I'm cryptocentric, but I'm also seeing people writing on a myriad of topics including life, religion, their hobbies, etc. These are all great things as well. I've seen seen some people open up and write some deeply personal stuff on here. Nice.
So what are my impressions so far? Publish0x is a decentralized, community driven social media platform with a novel, yet engaging monetization system, that is only going to get more robust in the future, the people are great, and it's a great place to write about what I like. Keep up the good work, bounty0x. You've got my vote.
