Slowly Setting Aside My Own Small Treasury

Since my plans for the future are now even clearer, the only thing I need to focus on is increasing as much as possible the amount of DEC I have available.

After a quick calculation, if I want to buy a level 2 copy of each of the six rare Archons available in the Conclave Arcana set, I would need to have around 51,000 DEC – assuming an average price of 1700 DEC per BCX.

My goal is actually to try to take advantage of buy offers to get better prices, but let's say the estimated amount is around 50,000 DEC.

And that's the amount I need to set aside in order to buy all these cards.

The question I ask myself is: where do I stand?

To find out, I need to track down all my DEC “reserves,” which are currently spread across three different places:

• Liquid DEC on Splinterlands
• DEC (+ GRAIN) in the DEC-GRAIN liquidity pool
• SWAP.HIVE to be converted to DEC at the right time

Liquid DEC on Splinterlands

Starting with the first "reserve", I currently have 6,348 liquid DEC available on the Splinterlands website.

This DEC comes from renting out my cards and SPS, and it’s also the one that steadily and predictably grows over time: right now, I earn about 7,000 DEC per month, which adds to the amount I already have available.

This is my smallest “reserve,” with only 910 DEC and an equivalent amount of GRAIN.

In theory, this pool also slowly grows over time, but at a very slow pace, so its value — and it will be for quite a while — is around 1,800 DEC once the GRAIN is converted into DEC as well.

Potential DEC

The third and final “reserve” is the largest, but also the most uncertain.

Its exact value changes over time, since it depends on the rise or fall of HIVE's value.

Potential DEC if I swapped today

Some time ago, I converted 10,000 DEC into 48.9 SWAP.HIVE and I’m still waiting for the right moment to convert that SWAP.HIVE back into DEC.

If I did the swap now, I would get over 13,800 DEC — a gain of 3,800 DEC compared to my initial position.

Summing it all up

Adding up the values mentioned above, I get about 22,000 DEC.

This amount represents 44% of the total I need if I want to have a reasonable sum to purchase the six level 2 Archons I'm aiming for.

As I mentioned earlier, renting out my cards and SPS is the main way I can increase this reserve, but a rise in the value of HIVE would also help.

If HIVE reaches 30 cents I would definitely do the swap, because I’d get several thousand more DEC than I originally invested, and I’d be more than satisfied with the outcome!

Mettendo Lentamente da parte il Mio Piccolo Tesoro

Dato che i miei piani per il futuro sono adesso ancora più chiari, l'unica cosa a cui devo prestare attenzione è aumentare quanto più possibile il DEC a mia disposizione.

Facendo infatti un rapido calcolo, se voglio acquistare una copia al livello 2 di ognuno dei sei Arconti di livello raro disponibili nel set Conclave Arcana, dovrei avere a disposizione circa 51.000 DEC - considerando come prezzo medio 1700 DEC per ogni BCX.

Il mio obiettivo poi in realtà è cercare di sfruttare le offerte di acquisto per strappare prezzi migliori, ma diciamo che indicativamente la cifra si aggira sui 50.000 DEC.

E questa cifra è quindi quanto dovrei riuscire a mettere da parte per poter acquistare tutte queste carte.

La domanda che mi pongo perciò è: a che punto sono?

Per scoprirlo devo andare a ricercare tutte le mie "riserve" di DEC, che sono attualmente divise in tre posti diversi:

• DEC liquido su Splinterlands
• DEC (+ GRAIN) nella pool di liquidità DEC-GRAIN
• SWAP.HIVE che deve essere convertito, al momento giusto, in DEC

DEC liquido su Splinterlands

Partendo dalla prima "riserva", sul sito di Splinterlands ho a disposizione 6348 DEC liquidi.

Questo è il DEC che deriva dal noleggio delle mie carte e dei miei SPS ed è anche quello che, nel tempo, aumenta in maniera costante e prevedibile: attualmente guadagno infatti qualcosa come 7000 DEC al mese, che si aggiungono mese dopo mese a quelli che ho già a disposizione.

Questa è la mia "riserva" più piccola in cui si trovano solamente 910 DEC e un ammontare di GRAIN di pari valore

Anche questa teoricamente vede il proprio imposto aumentare nel tempo, ma ad un ritmo estremamente lento, per cui il suo controvalore è - e per parecchio tempo sarà - pari a circa 1800 DEC, una volta convertito anche GRAIN in DEC.

DEC potenziale

La terza ed ultima "riserva" è quella più sostanziosa, ma anche quella più incerta.

Il suo valore preciso cambia infatti nel tempo, dato che dipende dall'aumento, o diminuzione, del valore di HIVE.

DEC potenziale se effettuassi lo swap oggi

Qualche tempo fa ho convertito 10000 DEC in 48.9 SWAP.HIVE e sto ancora aspettando il momento giusto per riconvertire questi SWAP.HIVE in DEC.

Se effettuassi l'operazione adesso otterrei più di 13800 DEC, con un guadagno di 3800 DEC rispetto a quella che era la mia posizione iniziale.

Tirando le somme

Sommando i valori che ho indicato sopra, ottengo circa 22000 DEC.

Si tratta di un importo che rappresenta il 44% del totale che devo raggiungere se voglio avere a disposizione una somma che sia, verosimilmente, sufficiente per acquistare i 6 Arconti di livello 2 che mi interessano.

Come dicevo anche poco sopra, il noleggio delle carte e degli SPS che possiedo rappresenta il modo principale in cui posso incrementare questa riserva, ma anche un eventuale aumento del valore di HIVE mi sarebbe di aiuto.

Per inciso, se HIVE raggiungesse i 30 centesimi sicuramente effettuerei lo swap, perchè otterrei parecchie migliaia di DEC in più rispetto a quelle che ho inizialmente investito e sarei più che soddisfatto del risultato dell'operazione!
