Today is the International Pizza Day... a sort of Bitcoin Day!

Did you know that Pizza is the dish of Bitcoin? On May, 22nd 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz paid for two pizzas at Papa John 10.000 BTC. Those days BTC was about $0.04 - so he paid $41.

The payment entered the story of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in general and now we celebrate in fact the Bitcoin Pizza Day on May, 22nd!

On January, 17th Catholics remember Saint Anthony the Great, the patron of bakers and pizza makers... so today is a sort of Patron day for bitcoiners.

It's funny to think that a Deliveroo poll stated that the dish that makes people happier is pizza!
I sincerely don't think that when Laszlo Hanyecz thinks about pizza and Bitcoin is going to be happier. Try to calculate how much do those BTC 10.000 worth now and how many pizzas he could pay nowadays!
