Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge. For this week, it's Manuevers: All units gain Reach ability.

The Ruleset

Manuevers: All units gain Reach ability.
Available Splinters: all except Light
Max Mana: 26

My Team

In this battle, I picked the Water Team. This is one of the rulesets where Coastal Sentry shines and I intended to take advantage of her high damage output by placing her in the second position with the Reach ability granted by the ruleset. Coastal Sentry does 4 melee damage and has the Double Strike ability. With the Reach ability, she can be placed in the second position to deal massive damage.

Kelya Frendul summoner. She is ideal in this type of battle as she gives +1 Shield ans Speed to all units.

Cruel Sethropod in the first position. This is a low mana battle so I used this in the first position. With only 3 mana, it deals 2 melee damage and has 4 shields and 5 hearts. A good tank for the amount of mana it has.

Coastal Sentry in the second position. The star card in this battle and my strategy revolved around supporting this card and allow it to do as much damage in second position while my tank is being sustained.

Spirit Hoarded in the third position. This is a multi purpose card. It deals magic damage while debuffing the opponent with Blind. It also has Triage which heals my backline.

Merdaali Guardian in the fourth position. This is a great support card having both Repair and Tank Heal abilities. I picked this card to help sustain my tank and allow the Coastal Sentry to deal damage in the second position.

Angelic Mandarin in the fifth position. Another unit with the Triage ability while dealing 2 ranged damage. This will help the Coastal sentry do damage to the opponent's tank.

Torrent Fiend in the sixth and final position. A zero mana card to help guard against the opponent's sneak attackers.

The Opponent's Team

My opponent has the same idea as I did. He also built his team around the Coastal Sentry in the second position while having a tank that sustains itself with Heal. Unfortunately, his team is stronger than mine as he has Lux Vega or Kelya 2.0. Lux Vega gives similar buffs as Kelya but she also gives +1 heart to all units. He used a level 3 Baakjira as tank and a level 6 Coastal Sentry.

The Battle

My tank was eliminated first and when that happened the battle was practically lost. Having both Lux Vega and level 3 Baakjira gave his team a lot of buffs while slowing down my team. My opponent's team was better and in this battle, he deserved the win.
