Introduction
I have been writing for some time on the Hive platform, well, you can say from inception. 😊 Writing on Leo's front end was a bit later as compared to Hive and Steem. Most of my articles in the recent past were Splinterlands themed and I used to tag Leo every once in a while. Although, sometimes I found it silly to be tagging LEO while writing a Splinterlands article that had nothing to do with finance.
Looks like I can now tag LEO while writing about Splinterlands, after all. In some new turn of events, Splinterlands will create a bridge between the game and Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Also, users can farm CUB on CUB Defi. How’s that for bringing both together!
Just for the sake of neutral readers, let me take a minute to talk about Splinterlands.

What Game is Splinterlands?
Well, it is one of the earliest blockchain-based collectible games. Though I started playing the game relatively late, I should have had gotten going early in hindsight. Anyway, no need to despair. There are so many opportunities no matter when you start.
*Splinterlands is a digital card game that allows you to collect, trade, battle, rent, and even earn on the cards. It is one of the most generous games that I have seen where cards, potions, Dark Energy Crystals (DEC. Cryptocurrency) are given out every day to thousands of players for just playing and winning daily quests. And there are tournaments or guilds that you can join.*

The Splinterlands – LEO Connection
Well, as of yesterday, the announcement from Splinterlands stated that users and players will now be able to benefit (even more) from earning Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), Splinterland’s in-game crypto-currency. DEC bridge will be made for BSC and users can farm CUB on CUB-Defi.

If 2021 was not great already for crypto-users, such interchangeability (not sure if that is the right term) between two of my favorite projects – Splinterlands and LEO – just ups the ante. Well, what can we say?
