This is an update on my Trickle to a Flood plan. Briefly, this plan consists of 4 parts.
- Earn Free Crypto Every Day
- Passive earnings from mining
- Invest earnings in new and promising AltCoins
- Take profits and reinvest profits into more passive earnings and AltCoins and Bitcoin/Etherium
I have been at this for a little more than three months now and my trickle has grown a bit.
Free Crypto Earnings
This was a good month for earnings primarily due to Hive and LeoFinance. Here is a summary of my earnings and my thoughts on these sources.
Brave Browser - Along with others, my earnings here have really slowed. At this point, I'm pretty much just using Brave because it is a good browser. Ads have nearly stopped being shown on my laptop. I'm still getting ads on my phone. Earnings - 0 (probably some, but not much)

Plans for this month: Continue use. It is a good browser.
Presearch - My PRE is slowly building. They have made a recent improvement to their search results letting you quickly redo the search on Google or other engines with a push of the button. If you don't find what you are looking for you can now just click on an icon and do the search at Google or other search engines. But truthfully, I've been finding the Presearch results to be pretty darn close to the Google results. Once I've accumulated 1000 PRE I plan to stake a keyword.

PublishOx - I haven't been very active on PublishOx this month and it shows with my earnings.

Uptrennd - I have more or less abandoned Uptrennd. The price of 1UP has continued to drop to the point that it doesn't seem to be worth the effort. It is a shame as I invested a fair bit of time building my level up there.

Plans for this month: Experiment to see if less traffic means more attention from Whales.
Hive/LeoFinance - I started getting involved on Hive two months ago and have been getting more and more focused on earning here. I have had a couple of posts earn some good rewards (2 that were over $10 a post). My Hive Power is mostly delegated to Leo.Voter for which I receive a small amount of LEO every day. My Leo Power is starting to grow and I have been excited to see my curation rewards increase too. I have a big post paying out tonight and I will power up my LEO with all of these rewards.

Plans for this month: Continue blogging and interacting. Continue to power up HIVE and LEO.
Splinterlands - This is my second month of playing Splinterlands.
I started with the idea to just drain any rewards from the game to provide HIVE. However, I have started to invest in my deck and have actually put a wee bit more of my own money into it. I have started to buy alpha cards as they, like gold cards, increase how much DEC you earn when you when. But unlike gold cards, alpha cards are not much more expensive than beta cards. I purchased a few packs but didn't do very well with them. I prefer to just purchase cards off the market as buying packs is a gamble and my luck is for shit.
I decided to upgrade my summoners to level 2. This will allow me to use higher level monsters. After upgrading my summoners I started selectively upgrading some of my monsters. I Look for monsters I use a lot that are also cheap.
Yesterday was the end of the third season I've been in on and I did ok with the end of season reward. Four cards, a wee bit of DEC.
Level of Effort: 3 (but it is just a game so is it work?)
Earnings: Probably negative this month with card purchases
Passive Earnings From Mining
I have a couple of mining efforts underway that are generating some money too.
Mining With My Old Computer - Third month my old computer has been mining ETH and I'm getting close to my 3rd payment. My mining rate has decreased this month but with the increase in ETH prices my earnings have stayed at right around $30 per month ($20 after electricity costs). I may have to make some changes soon though as my GPU only has 4GB memory and soon it won't be able to mine ETH. I will have to switch to a different coin and they likely won't be as profitable.

Plans for this month: Switch to new coin after next payment.
Cloud Mining on DualMine - I purchased a 2-year cloud mining contract with DualMine to mine Eth. I'm still on the fence on if this will work out in the long run. They are planning to have their coin CRT on an exchange soon and plan to force people to take payment in CRT rather than the coin you have mined. I'm going to have to let that all sort out before I try and withdraw any money. So I will re-invest my earnings for this month and hope things work out.

BFG Mining on Betfury - I have been continuing to mine BFG at BetFury.
I now have mined over 1300 coins and am receiving a 0.00000950 per day Bitcoin dividend. I also moved up in Rank to Level 2 which will increase my cash back to 4% from 2% and unlocks boxes for storing and earning Bitcoin in. I have decided to stop mining BFG temporarily and am buying boxes. Each box pays a 10% monthly return (120% annual) and I'm allowed to own 5 boxes at a time. So for now I will buy boxes and once I have 5 boxes at a time I will go back to mining BFG.

Plans for this month: Pause mining and buy boxes w/ dividends.
dCity - I've decided to put dCity in the mining category although it is actually a game. But I look at it like every building I buy for my city is a little miner that will pay me in SIM every day. I just started playing this game last month and am starting to really push a lot of my earnings here. The ROI is insane (Over 250% for some cards.
Here is my city as of today. As you can see I'm earning 300 SIM per day. I will continue to reinvest both my SIM and a portion of my HIVE and LEO in my city as I really think this game is as close to printing money as you get.
Investing in Promising AltCoins
I had planed to use my crypto earnings to buy some of the cheap but promising alt coins. Selling to take profits and reinvesting in more cheap alt coins and Bitcoin and Eth. I got my feet wet last month with a few purchases, but ended up selling to fund my BlockFi account and take advantage of their $25 dollars in free Bitcoin offer. I have yet to really start this phase.
Interest and Staking
I'm collecting interest on my Eth holdings at BlockFi. They are currently paying 5.25% APY on Eth holdings. I like that the interest is actually paid in the coin of your coice too. I'm collecting in Eth with no swapping or gas fees. I just started with them last month.
Summary
While I would like to be able to give a clear summary of my gains for the month, I can't because I haven't really kept good records of some of the buys and reinvestments I have made. However, I estimate that I earned around $150, and spent another $30. I will have to do a better job of tracking my gains. Perhaps just focusing on net growth of holdings. While $150 per month isn't life changing it isn't nothing either and my little trickle is starting to add some flow.
