DOGE and SHIB are primed for success.  Sure, XRP, LTC, ETH, and BTC are all also primed for success, but their ship sailed with their millionaires a while ago, and there are a lot of DOGE and SHIB investors who are hungry for a profit.

These two pups are ready for the Moonshot.  They've been upgraded, adopted, and heavily invested in.

Or perhaps they flop.  Perhaps the whole system goes belly up.  That is not a likelihood.  It is a certainty.  But we don't know exactly when.

While they are going, they are programmed to go only up.  Yes, they will go down, but in the long-run, when they go down, they're just going down while they're going up.

When the markets seem like they are moving, DOGE and SHIB are early indicators.  DOGE and SHIB have peculiar and pronounced responses to the markets unlike any other cryptocurrency, and they are in very many way historically pegged to each other, as far as percentage gains and losses.  There are mental perceptions that the traders and holders of DOGE and SHIB have of for each of these coins which no other crypto currency has in its base investor following.

Based on the length of time the markets have been sluggish, there is a sharp and heavy sentiment and expectation of FOMO suddenly driving the next big spike in price and everything going through the roof.  There is that, and this tension is going to eventually get to that, but there is going to be a time of stark volatility where it looks like the next big spike is taking place, and then there will be sudden drawbacks as investors from months and years ago take out and realize some little profit they have been holding their breath for.

There are a lot of those kinds of dip-their-toes-in-and-see investors who have been hoping against hope for their investment to not disappear, and now that they see the possibility of gaining some sort of a profit, they will pull their funds out soon when that happens.  Once we get through that "resistance" to the upwards trend, depending on how closely DOGE is tracking with BTC % of recent rise, DOGE will either race to catch up, which would lead to a larger overall spike in value, or if DOGE breaks out first, it could be a more evenly-tempered rise in value.

Either way, there are lots more folks who have millions and billions of little tokens of SHIB and what all else goes into that ecosystem, hoping with literally baited breath for the markets to jump up, so they can realize profits.  The volatility in SHIB will some days have wildly dramatic swings to make news headlines because the overall market share is still small, as is DOGE, in comparison to other coins.  But SHIB should track with DOGE far longer than DOGE tracks with BTC.

DOGE has has several small seasons over the past few years where it gains its own independent trading patterns apart by and large from the mammoth BTC.  Of course when Elon Musk whispers sweet nothing into the right mic at the right time, it all goes wonky, but aside from that fun jolt of enthusiasm from time to time, DOGE really is one of the few "altcoins" that should be given the status of "maincoin" whenever that council meeting comes up and people start calling other coins "maincoins" besides just having BTC be it, with all else being alt.

DOGE has its own trading patterns which, like every other coin, closely track with BTC when the markets aren't hopping, but when things are moving real fast, and everything else is still tracking with BTC, DOGE is one of the few coins which breaks out early and forms its own independent trading patterns which are less influenced by BTC than others.  This is a good sign for HODLers and traders alike.

Whatever DOGE does, SHIB seems to follow, percentage-wise, and when these two break apart, I would guess it will be because DOGE slows down while SHIB is still gaining momentum, and SHIB's percentage of gain will outpace DOGE one day.
