Dark Ha'on

With 10 Mana cost, 2 Melee, 3 Speed, 1 Armor, and a whopping 13 Health, this Legendary has the abilities Flying & Taunt, making him an extremely powerful tank with huge benefits to Death's sniping and opportunist attacker nature. I will likely never own one of these beauties, but I was lucky enough to rent a Level 1 one for the day for 25 DEC. That should be all I need to display the real power of this card.

Costs: Normal $50, Gold Foil: $750
Renting: Normal: 25 DEC / day, Gold Foil: 350 DEC / day

Ideal Position & Role

This is a tank. He is THE tank. He's a taunt tank with flying with a huge health pool. At such a HUGE cost, he doesn't see a lot of use in Death's low mana specialties, but he is the catch all answer to high mana Death battles, and is relevant in every single league for his taunt ability and relatively great stats. As such, this guy is definitely a Position 1 Monster.

Ideal Summoner & Modifiers

Dark Ha'on shines best in Snipe & Earthquake rounds, where he is borderline unstoppable and provides the support Death's squishy, but powerful backline attackers need to really hit hard.

Mimosa%20Nightshade_lv1.png

My favorite summoner to pair with this bad boy is Mimosa Nightshade, who does -1 Ranged, afflicts all enemies with Affliction, and gives all allies Void, making them take reduced magic damage. That's right, lets make Dark Ha'on an unstoppable wall why don't we. In fact, I'm renting her for the day, for an additional 20 DEC, just to really show how this guy can swamp a team.

This is going to be fun

The Battle Ahead: AKA Let Dark Ha'on do EVERYTHING cuz RNG sucks and I'm at 60% ERC literally rolling low mana battles and no death battles non stop and the one time I got to use him in a full mana battle with Mimosa, the dude surrendered.

Link to Battle

Poison, No Heals, and 15 Mana.

AKA Contessa, Dark Ha'on, Undead Priest, and Chicken. This was my "F It" moment, and I unintentionally created a really good opportunity to show just how annoying Ha'on can be. Ha'on singlehandedly tanks, survives, and wins this matchup. I can't believe I won though, I'm still shocked by it.

Reflection

I love using Ha'on, but never really get a chance to see him shine often. As you can see from my obnoxiously long previous title, that is further inconvenienced by the RNG of battle modifiers. This was a really fun, out there opportunity that showed an unexpected side of Ha'on: Low mana tanking in Poison/Earthquake rounds.
