So the Farsite store will open in less than a week on May 31st, 2021. I wanted to go over the different crates and what we can expect from the information available. Be sure to get signed up for the airdrop if you haven't already.
Here is the information we have from Farsite.
In order to provide players with at starter items, Ships and Blueprints on the day of the game launch to incentivize the game economy, trading and production a series of Crates will be available in the Store.
Crates
Store is the initial source for Crates in the game. Crates contain valuable game items like Blueprints, Ship Hulls, Modules, Components etc. as well as some unique NFTs like Sacura Club Key and some legendary Ships Blueprints that will never be created again. There is a chance to get a great Ship Hull or a rare Module just in every Crate.
Credits in Crates
Aside of initial distribution, Crates are the only source for Credits in the game. Given the fact that Credits are constantly consumed in the game with corresponding amounts of FAR tokens being burned, Crates can become more valuable over time. Please be informed that an amount of Credits received from Crates will reduce with every next game development Phase.
Discounts
Purchasing stacks of Crates grant exclusive discounts.

Crates
Initially there will be 2 crates available to purchase. The Green and Blue crate will be available only until Phase VI starts. After the initial phase we know that the Sea and Ocean crate will be available to purchase with credits. As of now we are not sure how to acquire the Silver, Gold Power and Club crates.
Crates are containers with valuable game items and Credits, it's the only source for original Blueprints. Creates are initially sold in the Store. There will be limited series of Crates with exclusive Blueprints and Stickers. Initially issued by developers and being an NFT every Crate could be offered on the secondary market by a player, just like any other game item.
Green Crate
Basic supplies: a Module with some consumables. Acquire several Green Crates and a Blue Crate to equip your Ship and stockpile some Credits and AMMO for smooth start in the game.
