Hello everyone, my name is Byron and I draw Zombies.
If you read my last article, I introduced a new NFT collectors activity called the Experimental Greenhouse. Shortly after launching it, everything fell apart. Blends failed, to many rewards were sent out, whitelists were pointing to the wrong links. It was crazy and it made me upset because that's human nature - get upset when things don't go right.

So what did I do in my rage? I slept on it. I turned off what I could and left a message saying things went wrong. Then left it until the morning.
No sense panicking even further right?
When the morning came I reluctantly went back to see where I goofed. The culprit was the new staking farms I made which changed all the connections in the map. I had to go and create new blends with new permissions and basically start from scratch. It wasn't so bad though. I already had all the templates made, all the art was done, the website was already there. It was just a matter of connecting it all and making sure it was connected correctly.
Hours and hours of work went back into rebuilding the greenhouse. As frustrating as it has been, it's also been good to go over it from scratch like that. It's been months since I first worked on this and laid out the framework, so redoing it all helped me do things right and maybe even a bit better. On top of that, it has also helped rekindled my imagination and ideas around the greenhouse. 
New ideas are forming, new ways of controlling the action and new ways of adding random elements are being thought of as I rework all the different parts of this activity.
As an added bonus, the collectors and fans that have tried this are giving some positive feedback and have already started suggesting add ons and ideas so it seems like the idea of a community driven NFT activity has some feet. Those that jumped in to the Greenhouse 3 or 4 months ago are finding a small demand for SUNLIGHT, which was given away freely for weeks. A few of these are now starting to show up on the Secondary market.
So while the initial launch crashed and burned on the same day as it launched, the rebuild is going well and the energy is starting to pick up again.
