Brigade is one of two game mode that is currently out on the Taco Universe, with more games and features coming in the future. Brigade is a Free to Earn WAX based game that is available to be download on the App Store and Google Play Store.

How To Play
The game mode itself is fairly simple. Where if you have played Alien World before, it works in a similar way, where you equip items and essentially click a button and gain SHINGS. If you're familiar however, here is a step by step:
- Create a WAX wallet
- Enter the Website or download the Taco Universe App
- Choose a Venue of where you want to gain SHINGS, Equip NFTs (optional), and click EXECUTE to earn SHING.
- Once you collect your SHING a wait time will pop up, and once it reaches zero, then you can do the same thing again.
Choosing A Venue
When choosing a venue to work at, consider the following four factors:
- Fee: The amount paid to the venue owner.
- Pool: The size of the pool affects the amount of SHING available for claim.
- Bonus: The bonus increases the amount of SHING earned, for example, a 90% bonus means you will earn 90% more SHING than at a normal venue with 0% bonus.
- NFTs: The number of additional NFTs distributed daily by the venue owner.
Choosing a more known venue such as Shingland would give you access to more features, more giveaway, community that can help you out with your questions, better leaderboard system, and generally a better experience. On the other hand joining a lesser known or a new venue will allow you to achieve more SHING since there is less people working at the venue, there's more chance at earning NFTs and rewards, and a better chance of you getting more recognition for your work and earn yourself more rewards or bonuses.
Equipment
Equipment is divided into two categories. Power and Luck. Power count towards the amount of SHING you get, the higher your power the more SHING you get. Luck contributes to the NFT drop, the higher your luck the better your chances are of getting an NFT when working. NFTs are manually set by the venue owner.
Currently, there is no equipment drop. The only way you can get equipment is through the market.
There are 6 different rarity equipment, the rarer the equipment, the greater chance to boost Power and Luck:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Mythic
The more equipment you have, the longer the wait time is before your next work. Thus having more equipment doesn't necessarily means better rewards. It depends on the equipment that you have and whether that outweighs not working every hour.
- 1 Equipment = 1 Hour Cooldown
- 2 Equipment = 2 Hours Cooldown
- 3 Equipment = 3 Hours Cooldown
Ta-Cores, Crafting, and Upgrading
In order to get more SHING people would need better equipment, and to get better equipment you would need to upgrade your current equipment (or buy a higher quality equipment). To upgrade equipment players can head to the "Blend" tab. From there they can choose which equipment they would want to upgrade.
Upgrading costs materials: 4 of the same equipment you want to upgrade + Ta-Cores (varies depend on rarity).
Ta-Cores can be obtain through breaking down ingredients. Which is on the option tab on the Brigade game mode.
From there, you can click the "Create 6 Tiny Ta-Core" button, and the NFTs should be in your inventory.
Ta-Core Creation Index:
- Common Ingredient = 6 common Ta-core
- Uncommon Ingredient = 5 uncommon Ta-core
- Rare Ingredient = 4 rare Ta-core
- Epic Ingredient = 3 epic Ta-core
Ta-Cores will be used in other features in the future outside of Brigade.
Crafting
Combining two equipment of the same rarity will give you the chance you upgrade them to a higher rarity.
- Common + Common = Uncommon
- Uncommon + Uncommon + Tiny Ta-core = Rare
- Rare + Rare + Small Ta-core = Epic
- Epic + Epic + Medium Ta-core = Legendary
- Legendary + Legendary + Big Ta-Core = Mythic

Although you will be able to acquire a higher level of equipment, there is still a chance of getting an empty result, around 1% failure to be exact. Which means you will lose all your material and equipment. There is also a chance of you getting an even higher rarity (Ex. Common + Common = Rare), and another chance of creating the same rarity.
It has recently been announced that you would need to have 4 equipment instead of 2, to craft with a 100% chance. Where they would remove the old system completely, and use this new system.
How To Have Your Own Venue Brigade
Once you have purchase a venue of any rarity, you would need to level up that venue until it reaches level 100.
This would roughly cost you from 12,000-15,000 WAX depending on whether you craft your own ingredient or not. Additionally, you can only level up your venue once every 24 hours, and in order to reach level 100, you would need 9 weeks and 3 days.
Tools For Success
Calculating Rewards
A community made website has been made providing a lot of useful tools to help you with additional information for Taco Universe related needs. One of them is to calculate the amount of SHINGS you would get depending on your equipment and where you work. Simply input your equipment and based on that information you can make the best decision that suits you.
Check How Much Work You've Done
On the same website, head to the Leaderboards tab and click on Brigade. You can see the amount of SHING you earn on that day, the highest amount of SHING you claim from one work period, and the number of jobs completed that day. You can click on the venue that you are working on to see where you rank amongst your fellow worker.
Check Individual Work
To see how much SHING you earn from individual work, you can head over to wax.bloks.io. From there you can fill in your address on the search bar.
From there you will need to click the Token Filter, and search for "SHING t.taco".
From there you will be able to see all your SHING transactions, in or out.
